Probably a marking for time of manufacturing, because I don't believe they're like firearms with different origins or approvals. I love my cast irons because they're dead simple, handle metal instruments, and can go in the oven, but I really want a carbon steel to have less weight and less upkeep. I don't have a problem with spicy food. That burning feeling comes from eating cheese or other high fat foods like peanuts. Try eating something spicy that is low in fat, and see if you get the same pain later.

Why not leave about a centimeter or two of cheese and topping from the crust, then take a simultaneous vertical bite so your crust doesn't taste that bland?

>This is balsamic honey roasted pork with a spinach puree and pickled dill, with a side of pickled stuff (cabbage, tomato, olives and watermelon), and shallots. The pork is from my dead pig friend we killed and froze a few months back, and the spinach puree was made from spinach I found in my freezer. All the pickled shit is homemade too. If I need to prove the pork/spinach was from frozen ingredients I can take photos of the packaging, but I'm really lazy and want to drink beer in bed.
