what can I do to make broccoli taste better? my stupid fucking dad buys pizza with broccoli on it and it ruins it.

Cajun Dry Rub Chicken over Agave/Sorghum Turnip Root and Black Rice
1Lb Chicken Breast
1/2 Cup Black Rice
1 Turnip Root
1 Onion
1 TB Sorghum
1 TB Agave
3 TB Cajun Dry Rub
2 TB Butter
1 Cup of Water + Chicken Stock Cube
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
Cover Chick in Rub
Sous Vide 1 hour @ 142F
Sear on High in pan 1 min per side
Boil water+stock, add rice and butter. Simmer for 25 min
Saute Diced Turnip and Onion with Agave and Sorghum
S/P all to Taste

Hey ck
Give me your best Indian recipes. I'm told northern Indian cuisine is richer and spicier, but people seem to argue about it. There is an amazing Indian restaurant where I live that has inspired me to make delicious curries at home. They make incredible naan, desserts, and roasted cheese as well.
I am looking for any recipe but particularly: yellow daal, masala chicken, masala lamb, fish curry, aloo gobi.
Any other tips and referrals appreciated.

Also, that's an odd looking tonkotsu there, OP. It's generally made with bones, not meat. The whole point of tonkotsu is the gelatin in the stock; that comes from bones and connective tissue rather than muscle meat.

I put a shit ton of meat and bones in it. If y'all think throw it out then I'll throw it out. I separated the bones after I boiled the animal parts, boiled the shit out of them, and mixed the broth from that with the meaty broth
Does /ck/ care about food being authentic or not? What does a recipe need to be authentic? Do you care more about an authentic recipe when eating or cooking?

Depends. If I'm visiting someplace and trying to get a feel for its culture of course I want "authentic" food. In terms of everyday eating I really just want what tastes best, which usually happens to be authentic food since in most cases it has been cooked and refined for centuries

Sometimes those go hand-in-hand but that's not always true.
However when I'm making a dish that I've never cooked before I always try to learn the original or traditional recipe first, then I might modify it from there.

The sweeteners don't taste as good as sugar, but I prefer the less sticky feeling of diet soda overall. Diet Coke tastes objectively better than regular Coke due to formula tweaks, not dietness. Stevia sodas all taste like punishment and death.
