Say I'm cold-posting (as in a physical letter in the physical mailbox) my resume and cover letter to loads of companies in the same industry, 100+
So I'm using mail merge because I am working harder not smarter
Who do I address the letters to at the company?
Recruitment Department?
Hiring Manager?
in Australia, if it matters
goyim?

"To whom it may concern"
"For recycling"
Same effect

I am very seriously considering starting a website that buys gift card for bitcoins.
Would you guys have an interest in this? It would be a way to get bitcoins without showing your ID or going through localcoins. On the flip side, would anyone be interested in buying gifcards with bitcoin?
Idiot
I would start out exclusively buying Lowe's gift cards, and if that works I would expand.
People who want anonymous bitcoins can get it, people who do return fraud schemes can sell their store credit for digital money. I could even have a separate .onion website for customers wanting privacy ;^) ;^)
What would be a good bitcoin exchange to use, do you think?
it's not the best idea in the world unless you want tons of egift cards that were bought with stolen credit cards by niggers
Why isn't 'merchant' a job description anymore? What happened?
>>1392320
Because all merchants have literally transformed into buildings. You may have heard of them. They are called stores.
>>1392320
There isn't really such a thing as a merchant anymore. They were replaced by corporations as feudalism grew into capitalism.
>>1392320
you could be a merchant on amazon
Is there anyway I can calculate the """""""""true""""""""" value of a stock or understand if a stock is a good buy in a more mathematical language? I know about intrinsic value but it has its limits.
In short, any equations I can use or books that can teach me to find the value of a stock using math?
>>1392303
Not really, you can use a repeatable valuation method that can work across many stocks to scan them.
i.e. you could put anything below 60-70% intrinsic value on your radar
Then look at management and it's history of decisions as well as review all relevant financials.
Make sure the company is positioned to do well in its industry, has lasting model for success, etc..
Once you ask questions like that, you can find stocks worth owning for the next few years and you should be able to beat the market.
However, don't buy stocks just because they are cheap. A lot of people make this mistake without considering the situation the company is in.
Remember your job is to properly forecast future performance.
>>1392303
Very simple. Just use the néepad formula.

This was very helpful thanks.

What's the best way to pass the Series 6? I have all the Kaplan materials and can devote 8 hours a day to studying. From what I heard the questions on the test are a bit different from what's formatted in Kaplan. Any help?
Do any of you /biz/ybodies do freelance work full time?
How do you break into it, and what can I expect?
>>1392093
network a lot have everything ready(contracts, marketing material etc.) cold call cold mail(non spammy etc.) dependent of your field but you can except do deal with annoying clients, ppl that do not want to pay you etc. Think of everything that could go wrong and have a ready solution for that

How much does social media matter for this field?
Evening /biz/inussmen
I need a website crested for my business venture but know nothing about wen design, front end dev and site admin
Premise is effectively a. Ecommerce site selling user generated items in a unique way.
Needs:
Users to be able to list items, state a price and it must appear on the website like threads on 4chan do, I.e. In bump order/price order etc
Needs to link into PayPal or wordplay to take payment. (Most likely just PayPal initially)
Needs to be able to automatically administrate listings and update as the listing continues to a close
If anyone looks at VIAGOGO, STUBHUB OR SEATWAVE. It's almost the same type of site as those that I want but not to sell tickets.
Does anyone have an idea where to start and potential costs of commissioning such a website (desktop and mobile) does anyone on here live in the UK and has the expertise to do such a thing.
I'll try and get back on here to reply to the thread but if you have anything important or Any service to offer just fire me an email , [email protected]

Why not just hire a free lancer if its an e-commerce site, its not like its a brand new idea worth stealing. If not just search for companies in your area. Trust me when I say this, NOBODY is going to steal your idea, so just go with a company who have a lot of experience, it will be better in the long run.
There are package solutions for e-commerce you can buy for <$200. If I wanted to help, I would buy one and then bill you out the ass to set it up. But you probably won't pay the invoice so fuck you.. nice try jew
I thought that people here may be interested in this card game my fiance and I launched on Kickstarter today. We made it to fill what we felt was both a void in all-inclusive sex games, and a way to establish communication to oneself and their partner about experimentation in the bedroom, and fetishes in a fun, lighthearted way.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fantasiaint/paraphilia-truth-or-dare
Let me know if you have any questions, and if this is something you might be interested in. It's designed so that two people customize the deck without revealing it to the other person. It allows people to share their current desires without directly stating, which can sometimes cause miscommunication otherwise, and problems along with it when people try too hard to beat around the bush.
>$12,000 to create an overly complicated card game

>What are shipping and manufacturing and sales tax and Kickstarter fees
If I hit the minimum goal, I'm basically making only $500 profit if everything goes well.
Fix your graphic design skills, they look too amateur m8.
Why did everyone believe their bullshit for so long?

Googled it: basically they were secretive and lied through their teeth.

Lots of people were calling them out on it, but the corruption and bribery was so deep that it almost completely invalidated anyone claiming that the books were cooked
There are old interviews up on youtube that are very interesting to watch.
There's on where people are actually using the argument of "You think it's realistic that say that multiple auditors were bribed?"
At one point, Enron was actually turning down legitimate contracts because having real clients would hurt the ponzi.
What are your thoughts on WHMCS?
I am thinking of spinning up a few Teamspeak/Mumble rental websites to earn some extra money.
don't even think of getting into that business.
I used to own the fourth largest Minecraft host, and the second largest Ark Survival host. It was the MOST work for the smallest profit ever. You deal with constant 10 year olds that get their mothers to make tickets for the stupidest shit.
Unless you can get it nearly 100% automated, and even then, the margins for this shit is so thin it isn't worth it.
any stocks looking nice to invest in, /biz/?
NXTD, gainz up to $3 in the next year, possibly $1 in the next week or two
any guns stocks, AMD, Seagate
Knee pads manufacturers (tickers SLURP, CHOMP and URMOM)
What is the website that has the big grid of prices/% changes like pic related for all the top stocks and stuff? I can't remember
It's called a heat map, and there are literally dozens of sites that have them. Now that you know what it's called, I'm pretty sure Google can get you the rest of the way there.

Are B.B.A.'s a meme or a good solution for someone that is going to start college? I've been to some forums where people of my country go to, and the fags there keep telling me it's "not well seen here" and stuff like that. I'd like to get into Finance but the only way here is either getting a Bachelor in either Economics or Biz Adm first as there are only Finance major courses in the universities of my country.
I'd like to get the opinion from some guys with BBA's themselves or something along those lines, so we can have a good discussion about how shit/good a BBA can be for starting college. I'm really into entrepeneurship and starting my own biz, and problem solving.
tl;dr Is Biz Adm a meme or a viable option? Also, can I get a job related with it (banking, or an office type job for example idc) so I can work after I get the Bachelor's and finish the Master's while getting some cash rolling back to me?
>>1391846
They're all memes
Idk ur shitty country but I'd always recommend finance/econ over bba unless you get your masters very quickly after. At the end of the day, the degree is to get your foot in the door, don't put so much emphasis on it and network instead, you will hardly use any shit u learn in school irl be it bba or econ, but the networks you make last and you can get a foot in the door. Work on yourself as a person more you filthy jew
>>1391857
The thing is, won't a BBA help me be a "better" business manager? As in, won't it actually make a difference in my business knowledge and help me "create" my future businesses? I always thought Econ was a basic training to get you to be an office slave, making you research shit 24/7 (which i'm totally not into). I'm more of the "lets fucking do this" kind of guy where I just want to make business plans to expand my biz ideas into reality. Wouldn't a Biz Adm be better for me as a future enterprise "creator"? (i know these terms im using are pretty shit)
>>1391857
>Work on yourself as a person more you filthy jew
Also, yeah, I'm actually trying to self teach myself how to code and also reading some good meme books just for fun (reading the Millionaire Fastlane by Mj Demarco).
