They invest your unsettled funds after a trade. It's also pretty basic shit.
> When is it coming to my country?
Never. They only have "plans" on an Australian beta.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, email their support. They are very good.
> Is this the place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
NO! THIS IS 4CHAN, A PLACE OF POLITENESS AND PROFESSIONALISM!!!
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform. -- (also learn difference between LIMIT and MARKET orders!!! and Jews are not white)
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want a 2nd account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

Graduating uni soon. As a graduation gift I'm getting help with the down payment for a car (most likely no more than a few grand down payment).
I want to avoid lots of repair costs and hassle, and I don't know jack shit about fixing cars. New Honda Civics are like 20 grand, or CPO's are around 10-13. I've heard you can get some older used for like 4-6k.
So what do I do biz? With a 4-6k used I used I could probably buy it outright. With the new I'd be paying like 4k a year for 5 years. CPO would be in between that.
I'm thinking low mileage CPO as that sounds like best bang for buck, but then again I still don't 100% know if the previous owner was a moron with the car.
get a bicycle and throw the car money into AMD
>financing a depreciating asset
Never do this. Slap your parents for bringing up such an idea.
Buy an old Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla in cash. Make sure it runs properly and has no rust underneath. Will last you the next 10 years at least. If you want you can put some money aside to buy a newer car in cash later on.
>>1693063
if youre gonna buy a new civic, buy the type-R
I would hold out on an accord because the all new accord will start production around fall of 2017, unless you are trying to get the best deal then buying an old model accord will save you money.
Are you fucking kidding me?
I make my first sales from my youtube page a few days ago, and even get someone to sign up for Amazon Prime. $10 in commission, plus 6 more items ready to be shipped.
Then I get this email. And this is the second time it's happened, the first was a few months ago on a different channel which I dropped.
Are you FUCKING kidding me? So then I go into live chat with Amazon associates support, and they tell me "You need to have hundreds of subscribers before you can put associates links on your channel. In the mean time, you can use a blogger page and link your videos there!"
Really, fucking really? "Oh you want to get started on youtube? Well you're just gonna have to freeball it and get no money for the first few, oh, months maybe, before we'll accept you. Actually we'll let you sell stuff for us in the mean time and then just close your account before we pay you."
What a bunch of fucking bullshit. My youtube channel is legitimate, it already has several high quality videos, all good and accurate information, pertinent amazon links... This is fucking infuriating.
>>1693046
Get a real job.
>>1693093
Thanks, but I'm not wage cucking for anybody else.
>>1693150
Good job timmy. Understand the game and refuse to play ball. That'll get you really far.
How is freelancing in computer-related subjects doing? Specifically talking about IT and web dev. How is the money?
>>1692937
used to be good before 2008.
i had to take a job when the crisis hit freelance work dried up big time, no idea how it is now.
Depends.
You get in with a good few clients who bring you steady work, you'll make some pretty good money and be pretty comfortable.
To do that though? You have to swim through the millions of pajeets who barely speak english, barely know anything about computers, but are willing to work for pennies on the dollar.
For every good client out there who recognizes that quality comes with a price, there are about 100 more who will haggle with you over everything and try to get things done as cheap as possible, even if it's a detriment to you, and will end up just hiring 100 people who are willing to do it for "exposure" anyways.
It's rewarding if you can stick with it and find the right people, but you're going to be eating a shit ton of ramen, and boarding with hobo's for a while.
Opportunity is inversely proportional to your skill level.
If you're a liar with no fucking clue how to actually do the work, you'll have an endless stream of clients throwing money at you.
So guys, I'm pretty sure that theres going to be the mother of all happenings next year in the stock market. No, I'm 100% sure that its going to happen that I would literally bet my life on it. This will basically be like a 1929 style happening. Unfortunately, not even gold and silver will survive this because investors will just sell everything and sit on cash. This will give governments the ideal excuse to enforce a tax on holding large amounts of cash so say goodbye to savings accounts. You may also be wondering how this all ties down to bitcoin. It is exactly why bitcoin is going to go to the moon next year, before governments eventually decide to abolish net neutrality and RIP sites like 4chan.
>>1692929
>p-please buy bitcoin so i can cash out before the bubble bursts
>>1692929
you're about half correct. Gold and Silver will do tremendously well as this market crash will bring the fractional reserve paper metal system to light. Cash is not looking good, otherwise you are correct.
>>1692929
>This will basically be like a 1929 style happening
Let it all crash and burn. I want cheap stocks and funds.
How do we fix the money problem?
Start by clearly defining it
>>1692930
Either you have too much or not enough of it.
Quantitative easing
My family owns a 154 acre farm. It used to be a dairy farm, also had horses, but now my parents are old and can't work with the horses anymore, so we have a herd of beef cattle as reserve cash (can take them to an auction when we need extra money). I own goats and get $400-$1000 every six months form selling the kids. There's junk all over the "human" part of the property from old cars, old equipment, random old stuff from auctions, etc, because my extended family is very ADD and starts projects without finishing them.
However, with all this land, I feel certain we could be making a lot more money than we are right now (no money is being made from it apart from the cattle). What would be the best way to make money from such a farm? Crops? Livestock? Ideas?
You would need to compare what equipment you have now vs what equipment it would take to raise a specific crop. Farm equipment is expensive and could be a major inhibitor.
Hopps and other craft beer ingredients are in demand now thanks to the craft beer trend, but that could wane.
Best bet is lease the land out, or grow a corn maze and charge for "tours" as entertainment. Either way it will need to be cleaned of any debris.
>>1692806
Sell it to China
>>1692836
We have tractors and such but the thing is our farm is very hilly and its never been a problem due to the fact that its been a ranch (animals) more than a farm (crops).
Is there any advantage of being an expat in China? Like better dropshipping opportunities, being close to factories, starting your own business?
How can I become rich in China?
>>1692611
Anyone else that's planning to move to eastern Asia? I hate European culture, and the terrible, leftist women, and I've been planning to relocate to Hong Kong, desu.

What the fuck are you talking about? One is a Currency and the other is a Crowdfunding platform.
ahahaha not even ironically using it for any purpose. Scams you if you like to use it for legal purposes and there are better ways to scam others, like crypto.

Unless you mean return via p2p lending, in which case you want to invest in a loan company which has some security on your capital.
>be me
>be 23
>didn't go to uni
>get on normiebook
>bored looking at classmates from HS
>they all graduated uni's
>thought I missed out on something the past few years
>none of them are doing anything interesting
>most are working mcdonalds tier jobs making less than me
>the people making the most are probably doing trades
can someone explain to me what happened? is this how it is everywhere?
seems like everything is a meme and I'm confused
are you a NEET?
>>1691944
Same story, except I'm 27 and most of mine are doing shit tier sales jobs so they can pay for shit Contiki holidays. Uni is a meme unless you have the drive to back up why you're going. At 18 years old when everyone makes that decision - they don't. You'll watch them all shift around the same 7 or so jobs or maybe owning a franchise - which is okay I guess if that's what they want to do. Society needs sandwiches
>Not a NEET
>>1691959
>>most are working mcdonalds tier jobs making less than me
What's the best way to come up with a name for your company? One that's future-proofed so you can branch out into several different areas.
>>1691834
Analyze the names of companies that did this and look for what they have in common. If you can't do this, just fucking kill yourself.
Try a random name generator until you get something you like.
>>1691834
I don't know, but Jane Levy is fucking hot.
Why do the people who complain the most about the economy want to buy brand new shit and act like they deserve it?
Buy used, buy cheap, better to live comfortable than to live stressed with shiny things.
>>1691739
Because they're retarded.
Unfortunately retarded people outnumber the non-retarded so they also have the ability to out vote the others
>>1691739
also wow that image is still saved by someone? Damn man...
I work in the administrative office of a shitty state Uni and this pretty much stereotypes 90% of college students that I've experienced since I've been working here since 2012
>go to Uni
>get meme degree created basically just to increase revenue
>"career counselors" supports their meme degree because enrollment is more important than guiding ignorant kids down a proper career path
>too lazy to apply for a bunch of small scholarships that accept almost anyone and basically add up to the "full ride" one they got rejected from
>take out student loans for everything
>use student loan credit after paying tuition and fees to furnish dorm, buy a MacBook, buy a brand new Kia or Honda Civic, etc.
>doesn't join any clubs or organizations
>doesn't apply for any internships
>just treats Uni like high school thinking a good GPA will do
>graduate with $80-200K in debt with a degree that may get you a $45K/year job if you're lucky
>blames their choices on the government, education system, etc.
>stands in front of wall street protesting like it's their fault
>shares upvote points on Reddit posting about their terrible choices
>thinks they are better than baby boomers who "had it easy"
The poor kids that get federal loan/grant funding and are limited in their funds are typically the ones that go into the worthwhile degrees, join clubs, have part time jobs, apply for internships, etc. The kids who take out $200K loans from banks with Mommy or Daddy's signature for a $40K degree are usually the fuck ups. Yet the government is somehow to blame.
>dating a trust fund baby
>brought her to family dinner
>wage cuck parents shame her for not working
what was i supposed to do? i just let them go off on her for doing "nothing" and we laughed it off when we got home
you were supposed to dump her
Would your parents work if they didn't have to?
The answer is no.
I recently retired at 28, and people have been giving me that spiel too... as though you need to slave away doing something you hate to have life purpose.
>>1691527
you are a pussy
you just let your parents turn your gf into a punching bag and your instincts told you to let her take it.
glad your not one of my friends.
