Buy an old Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla in cash. Make sure it runs properly and has no rust underneath. Will last you the next 10 years at least. If you want you can put some money aside to buy a newer car in cash later on.

You get in with a good few clients who bring you steady work, you'll make some pretty good money and be pretty comfortable.

To do that though? You have to swim through the millions of pajeets who barely speak english, barely know anything about computers, but are willing to work for pennies on the dollar.

For every good client out there who recognizes that quality comes with a price, there are about 100 more who will haggle with you over everything and try to get things done as cheap as possible, even if it's a detriment to you, and will end up just hiring 100 people who are willing to do it for "exposure" anyways.

It's rewarding if you can stick with it and find the right people, but you're going to be eating a shit ton of ramen, and boarding with hobo's for a while.

Opportunity is inversely proportional to your skill level.

If you're a liar with no fucking clue how to actually do the work, you'll have an endless stream of clients throwing money at you.

I work in the administrative office of a shitty state Uni and this pretty much stereotypes 90% of college students that I've experienced since I've been working here since 2012

>too lazy to apply for a bunch of small scholarships that accept almost anyone and basically add up to the "full ride" one they got rejected from

>use student loan credit after paying tuition and fees to furnish dorm, buy a MacBook, buy a brand new Kia or Honda Civic, etc.
>doesn't join any clubs or organizations
>doesn't apply for any internships

>blames their choices on the government, education system, etc.

The poor kids that get federal loan/grant funding and are limited in their funds are typically the ones that go into the worthwhile degrees, join clubs, have part time jobs, apply for internships, etc. The kids who take out $200K loans from banks with Mommy or Daddy's signature for a $40K degree are usually the fuck ups. Yet the government is somehow to blame.
