Depends on the complexity of your idea and your ability to code

If you can code the only cost will be getting a developer license, server costs, domain, random miscellaneous stuff

If you can't code it depends on the complexity of your idea... Is it something that has never been done before? Could you write up a software requirements specification (SRS) or a Software Design Description (SDD)?

In terms of cost, Do it yourself<SDD<SRS<No ability at all

Can you give us some insight into your app?

Hey Faggots,

I am thinking of creating an introductory series of video tutorials for those interested in internet marketing. I am confident I can deliver it in a format which is easy to digest and easy to implement for virtually anyone.

Currently, my idea to monetize this is to sell the landing pages and scripts I use in the video series. The information will be free and the model I use will be free - but if you wan't to use the exact same landing page and graphics that I use and have been proven to convert, I will charge a one time fee of $15.

My question: is that something you guys would actually consider paying for (or would even have the money to pay for) given that you were satisfied or otherwise convinced by the contents of the video? I know with many people, there is an inherent aversion to buying ANYTHING when it comes to internet marketing guru/wizard bullshit meanwhile there are many others who are open to the idea. My idea is mainly to target people who are otherwise motivated to do something with their lives (at least in the realm of the internet) but don't really know how to get their foot in the door.

Obviously I plan to make these available outside of /biz/ but as an ex-neet, I would like to gauge interest and gather input from you guys first. Pic unrelated

How much have you personally made from what you plan to teach?
>>
>>1697094
If someone is willing to teach you their techniques it generally means that it either doesn't work anymore or it worked just enough for them to break even.
The real money is in selling courses.

Okay.

I live in Ontario Canada. Never graduated highschool, got like $30-40k saved up, no real skills, no car, live with my parents.

HOW CAN I GET RICH OR AT LEAST FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT IN THE NEXT 5 - 10 YEARS?

How can I best maximize the system to benefit myself?

I am under the impression that ill have a difficult time with OSAP loans/grants as a result of having these assets already.

I know there's a few Ontario anons lurking/posting here so I'm looking for some input without "Suck 10m dicks for $1each".

Quit job, trying to get into sales on the advice of some /biz/anons.

>>where is that 40k? tfsa/rrsp?
TFSA and chequing account. So obviously easily verifiable by the government...

>usually osap loans/grants are based off of your parents income i think
As far as I know it also takes your assets into account. (In their eyes) someone with a bunch of money isn't in much financial need.

But my parents also make a lot of money too, which I find kind of bullshit because it's not like they help me particularly much besides living with them...
>>
>>1696832
Yeah thats where osap fucks people, when parents make bank but dont help w school.

just drop the 40k into a broad range etf, with low cost mer.

Nothing to do at work so I'm just walking around and spending 20-30 minutes in the bathroom at a time. Both of my stations are down for maintenance. Why would a factory pay me $19 a hour to float around instead of sending me home? I just wanna go home and sleep but they said no go find something to do. Apparently sweeping for 5 minutes and walking around nodding at people is something to do that's worth $19 a hour.

What's better for my career long term?

5 companies, 2 years each.

You'll get ~35% raise each time you switch compared to ~2-6% raise/year.
>>
>>1697044
In general, this.

It's more like 10-20% per switch vs 5-10% raise per year.
If your company gives you less than a 3% raise per year, you should quit immediately, as you aren't keeping up with inflation.

However, life isn't just about money, so if you love your job (very rare), you shouldn't feel like cuck for taking a slightly lower salary.

Also, work remote if possible.

Currently working a job I love remotely. It's basically like being paid NEET.

Dear /biz/,
I got my bachelor in mathematics a year ago and still haven't found a job. Actually, I have no idea what jobs I can do with this degree. Right now, I'm wasting my life flipping burgers. Go ahead, call me a moron but I really am desperate. Will appreciate any advise.

you can get a teaching certificate and teach math.

you can go back for some more abuse if academia is your thing.

you can flip burgers, that works too.

Just keep applying for jobs. With the gov, with insurance companies, with anyone who might hire a math major.

In the mean time I feel like you could be making more money by tutoring high school or college kids (either on your own or as a job) than at your burger flipping job.
