Why does it feel like money as I take the PATH train into Wall Street everyday for work?
Because you're leaving New Jersey.

How is the pornography industry sustainable when no one pays for it anymore?

ad revenue
>>1741710
Yes because women are sluts that just love cock and being on film. Win-win.
>>1741710
rich fags actually pay out of their pocket to be in porn. that's how. most of the porn is a guy paying fora fuck and the privilege to film it.
Ok so you have coins with less marketcap and with a fraction of Trumpcoin's volume listed on these big exchanges.
Why haven't they added Trumpcoin yet? What is wrong with them? Trump is public domain now so they don't have to worry about lawsuits or anything.
Are they this stupid? Are they really going to let petty vendettas and grudges get to them?
It just makes me want to trade on their platforms even less now.
stop trying to garner attention for your scamcoin

>>1741606
Could you give us some information about ICPW and BOSC?
>>1741608
People must enjoy that 10% annual blue chip growth..
>>1741611
For BOSC , based on the CEO's comment last earnings report, they are expecting y/y results to be improved. For that to happen they need blow out numbers Q4(next quarter). BOSC has good management, so I believe they will pull this one out.. Too add to the mix it's also super low float. ICPW makes gloves. One of their major revenue streams were gloves for the oil&gas sector. So their business turned down with the industry. With oil&gas coming back they should see a nice jump in revenues + guidance is up for 2017
Redpill me on unpaid internships, /biz/.
I'm in my third year of college, and everyone is emphasizing the importance of an unpaid, Summer internship in getting a job in my field (economics and political science). It seems like bullshit to me though, especially since I'll be missing out on thousands of dollars of income. Is it wiser to just work and save money?
>>1741574
Money should be among the last things you consider when taking an internship unless you absolutely need the money to survive. The top thing to consider if how the internship will affect your ability to get your desired career and earn money in the future. The amount of money you make over the summer in college is totally insignificant compared to how much you'll make after college.
>>1741574
Employer here, internships do help, both me and you.
You are able to look into different jobs and see what fits you best, plus you will be able to get accustomed to the work environment and learn some of the specifics for the trade which is a big plus in interviews.
As a recruiter I often have the problem that there is very little difference in all those kids applying without any prior job experience. An internship makes you seem more interesting and it's a good hook to ask for in a job interview.
the only reason unpaid internships still exist is because cucks fall for it like flies to honey

Hello.
Today I have started investing. I feel so happy that I finally took that path and my money isn't just sitting in my account or in a piggy bank. I hope, no matter what, that this will be a life lesson.
I intend to keep buying that stock every month for similar amount of money and watch it grow with averaging price.
Second, I think about buying shares of one or two compapies that I will find fit for long-term cause I am 26yo.
ALso today I built my excel spreadsheet to manage my portfolio.
Just wanted to invite more people to investing and to do something with their financials. Glad that your board is an inspiration for me.

Please don't interpret this as financial advice; I'm just a 19-year-old trying to learn more about the stock market.
I was wondering if pic related would be a good company to invest in. Its name is DryShips Inc, and is listed on NASDAQ under the symbol DRYS. Here is a page on Yahoo Finance:
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/DRYS?p=DRYS
I think it's worth taking a brief look at this press release, dated January 9:
http://dryships.irwebpage.com/press/dryspr010917.pdf
What do you think? Would it be a good idea to buy a bunch of stocks and hold on to them for a few years?
>>1741530
Youre a few months too late, /biz had a DRYS pump and dump.
Or you already know that and this thread will be "1 post by this ID"
You'll be lucky if it doesn't go bankrupt this year...
Dryships is a piece of shit company in a dead industry
Seriously, what is the fucking purpose of majoring in management? Even if you know from the start that you have a job lined up within management or within some consulting firm, why would you voluntarily take any management courses? What skills do you actually acquire?
>tfw I'm forced to actually take two courses in management for my accounting degree
>>1741500
It's a pointless major.

Managers are king of the wageslaves
If you want to make more money than your colleagues in the office, you need to be the "manager"
>>1741515
But at the end of the day you're still a wageslave.
hey biz bought to get 6000 bucks from a school refund check for books and stuff, what should I do with that money? I might look into getting an apartment/ cheap property to move out, but feel like there's some easy ways to make it grow quickly that I'm missing out on.
bump homies don't make me spend it on hookers and blow
If you're talking about the Pell Grant, save it for a down payment on a house. Preferably in an IRA (up to 10K can be taken a distribution without the 10% penalty for a first-time home purchase)
I did that, and it feels good to own property.
>>1742218
Well, put 5.5k in an IRA, because you can't contribute more than that. Use the rest for books and shit.

If people start making their own coins on top of ethereum, what makes THE ETHEREUM COIN valuable? why is ETHER useful?
Especially if they go proof-of-stake, then that means no one has to mine (spend money) to make more ether, so even if inflation is only 2% it doesnt matter because no one is spending money to create it.
Because it is gas.
also wondering this..
please some smartfag reply,
if I am interested in a project that is using ethereum but making their own coin and I think the project will be successful..
should I invest in ETC or the new coin or a?
will the new project make ETC more valuable or should I just invest in the new coin assuming the success of the project will pump this coin and not ETC?
thanks for the input!
>>1741794
>etc or the new coin or both**
I need you faggots opinions on a subject.
Recently I've been finding a lot of Samsung Galaxy s6 replicas on sales websites, and they're announced as such. Only problem they have is that they don't have the Samsung logo on the back cover, and on the front screen. They also go for about 80, 90 euros.
So, seeing this, I had an idea.
What if I buy one of these replicas, buy a back cover and a front screen with the samsung logo, spending in total about 120-130 euros. Replacing the parts, and selling it as a "used" original samsung galaxy s6 for about 400 euros, and keep doing this in order to estabilish a network of buying replicas, replacing the "fake" parts, and selling it as original for a profit of about 250-300 euros a sale?
That's called fraud.
Not only would it make you a total piece of shit, but if someone found out what you were doing and reported you, you'd be arrested.
Fuck you

>>1741386
the education sucks honestly, but it looks better than saying your taught yourself on freecodecamp.com.
study freecodecamp, and go to school at the same time.
most states community college is free, lots of low level computer jobs... honestly I hate working low level IT and I would rather collect my unemployment income or go on disability, unless I land a kush ass government gig.
