I have a Bank of America interview tomorrow I just got a call.

I literally don't know anything about banking, I sold credit cards at Best Buy and worked as a tech intern once upon a time.

I'm 22 and have $20,000 in the bank. I could happily survive indefinitely without working if I could find some basic way of securing my things and sleeping.

My list of possessions:

Laptop and power cable
A small assortment of clothes
Phone and charger
Some canned/dry food

That's it.

Given that I don't care about having electricity, running water, air conditioning, internet, etc in my living space but want to be in a city (need everything to be in walkable distance), what are my options?

Basically, I need a lockable door that I have 24/7 access to. There is NO WAY that this requires $500+ a month. NO FUCKING WAY.

No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform. -- (also learn difference between LIMIT and MARKET orders!!!)

thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want a 2nd account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

I'm thinking lucid motors, run by former Tesla executives, they have nearly a billion in cash, their plant is under construction.


I have never invested this amount of money before. Is it a good idea? I know Faraday future is going to crash and burn so that's off the table

Basically, why did so many companies start so high back then in early 2000's and now have such low prices?

Is it something to do with issuing more shares since then which devalued the other shares or something? Since there was more to go around?
