you clearly have no idea how much fun drugs are
drugs and ego
When was the last time this title had any prestige?
7/25/17 at around 10 PM and since
Only time since the mid nineties was when Cena had it. Not even his open challenge run but when he was up and coming and you knew he was going to be a big deal and that made the title feel like a big deal.
Now that they just keep the title on former world champions or career midcarders the title doesn't feel special anymore, just another prop wwe keeps around to give two guys a reason to wrestle each other
>>2931498
When Orlando Jordan won it and switched it back from that god awful spinner version Cena created. If only he had one the wwe championship too. Then maybe the weekend title wouldnt have looked like a joke for 7 years
I'll start

Hey that's good, but ohno is fat no way he'd fit in a kevlar suit now nowadays
I didn't watch during the Shield and punk days so I don't care
that was the original idea for the Shield per Phil but Vince changed it to Mr. Yard Punching Man.

Alberto El Patron's attorney tweeted a police report Thursday relating to an incident between El Patron and his fiance, WWE Superstar Paige, at an Orlando, Florida, airport earlier this month.
Along with the police report, Keith McMahon tweeted a message chiding those who released inaccurate reports in relation to the matter: http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2017/0727/628552/alberto-el-patron-paige-incident-police-case-report-released/ https://twitter.com/keithrtw/status/890405883729129472

“There really is a lot to learn from this business that relates to far more than just pro wrestling. The most important thing about wrestling, entertainment in general, and really life, that I've learned, is that the minute you think you understand it completely, it means that time has already passed you by. You're done. It's always changing. It has to always change, because the world always changes and time doesn't stand still. If you want to stop paying attention to the present and don't care to open yourself up to accept new concepts relating to both the present and the future, the door is there on the left. This business has changed completely over the past ten years. The next ten will bring changes probably just as significant. Don't decry these changes because you long for the way things were in the past. Not only does time, particularly in the entertainment world, not stand still, but it definitely doesn't go backwards. Decry the changes when you believe they aren't for the better, and many of them aren’t and many more won't be. But don't close your mind to them simply because they are new.”
The more things change.
By the way, I wrote this 24 ½ years ago. I probably could have written it 40 years ago as well. And yes, there was a mentality from some at the time it was written that Jushin Liger and Eddy Guerrero were the spot monkeys who didn’t know how to work because they did moves that you’d never do in a real fight and that they’d be flashes in the pan because their bodies would be destroyed by the time they were 35. 40 years ago the names would have been Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat. The people saying it spent their careers doing moves that you’d also never do in a real fight, and the vast majority of them are long since forgotten.

>Life always changes. There are so many different points in life and periods that you wish would last forever. They don’t. It’s the cycle of life. There are wonderful periods and savor them and remember them and you can’t be bitter or unhappy that things have changed, because people close to you that feel like a part of you are at some point not going to be there, but others will come. There are hard periods, and when they come, remember that they are also only temporary.

"This business is about physical stature. It's about looking at that guy walk down the aisle and saying "MY GOD! would I want to be in the ring with that guy?" and they've lost that, they've lost it, it's gone, it's GONE. The woman who gave me ride up here, the one she loves so much is Chris Jericho...I took a dump this morning bigger than Chris Jericho, I mean come on! I sat down with Kevin Nash a couple of years ago, just to at hello, I don't know him that well but I always liked him, he seemed like a nice guy. I said Kev you were a great champion because you can work; he could do everything Hogan did, Backlund did, Bruno did and he had physical stature coming out his ass." - King Kong Bundy
Cause he and Kevin Nash were scraping for pennies on the indy circuit while Jericho thrived in WWE
Who?
If you replace the phrase "physical stature" with "Vince McMahon's oily semen", then he is actually talking a lot of sense there.
Spring cleaning came late this year, but based around poor financial reports, WWE has begun its annual round of cuts. Organized as best I could here, I just got off a conference call about this.
Main Roster:
Emma
Rhyno
Slater
Kalisto
Sin Cara
Summer Rae
Paige (officially)
Rowan
Mojo Rawley
Zack Ryder
Enzo Amore
Kane
There are also "several" talents who were offered "renegotiated" contracts with much lower payouts. Being told that includes Balor, Bayley, Styles, Zayn, Big Show, Orton, Wyatt, and Bliss.
Also being told that several on screen non-wrestlers (Maryse, Ellsworth, Heyman) are on a pay per appearance contract now and will be making less appearances as a result.
WWE is pushing hard on income from India "saving the fiscal year", do expect huge pushes for Jinder, the Singh bros, and Khali to return. Jinder will likely keep the belt through Mania, the Singh bros will win the tag belts, and Khali is penciled in for a push on Raw against Roman, hopimg to replicate the success of Braun.
Finally, expect to see 205 Live reduced to a segment on Raw, no more separate show.
Hi carter! No one gives a shit about your fake news
