•Sparring, "aliveness" in training
•At least one participant competes at amateur or professional level
•Physical conditioning part of training

WHAT TO BE WARY OF:
•Fat, physically subpar students and instructor
•Graduation fees (e.g. "pay $200 and advance to next belt extra quick!")
•No proven athletes training there
•No sparring, moves shown are choreographed (e.g. "the attacker does this, then I do this, then you do this...")
•Cult-like atmosphere
•No physical conditioning

Alright, let me ask you this question while it's still just you and me:

If we are being realistic do you think creative would let him get away with half the shit he does now in TNA?

Keep in mind the things that he does is in collaboration with Billy Corgan and Jeremy Borash (and Jeff I suppose) That's only two other heads to work with. In wwe he would have to go through an entire team.

It's true.

It's like the mindset of these indie fed guys is stuck in a different era.

They are sheltered in the indies. They can run the same gimmick for years, because they have such little widespread exposure. So it means they never have to innovate: they think up ONE original gimmick at the start of their career (if they're lucky) and stay like that forever.

Guys like Matt and Jericho have been on television for 20-25 years. They have had to innovate to stay relevant.

It's what guys like Bray Wyatt and Kevin Owens are going to have to learn fast, or they're finished.
