I struggle to fall asleep.
I heard what I thought were gunshots in my neighbourhood and I haven't been able to fall asleep properly for months.
The media has also been playing up home invasions, paranoid af about being killed in my sleep.
How do you guys get over this shit and fall asleep?

I used to have a deadly fear of fires when I was younger and it really ruined my sleep. What you have to understand is that the chances of something like that happening to you is very low, and you can try to be prepared in case it does happen.
Get a gun or something.
My friend dated this chick for about a week last year and he's liked her ever since. Recently he asked her out again but she said she doesn't like him. Any medfags? The joint in my thumb near where it meets the wrist protrudes slightly when I have my thumb in the position on the right. I don't feel anything - I only noticed it yesterday when I saw an area of red skin near where that joint is. It's from the bone coming too close to the surface I think. When I have my thumb in the position on the right, that small area of red skin becomes white, and you can feel a bump there.
I recall hitting something particularly forcefully with the palm of my hand the other night and I'm 99% sure this is the result of that. Is this something that can be corrected with a brace? There is no pain now but I'm worried of it becoming a serious issue down the line.
tl;dr a joint in my hand protrudes slightly when it's bent and is currently not painful; how serious is it?

So recently I got some dental work done, my teeth cleaned up, some little cavities filled. With exception of my back four teeth. Granted, they were in pretty bad shape when they started, but one of the fillings has already completely popped out and another one chipped. (it's kinda like 1/4 of the top of the tooth.) The four back ones are probably not worth saving. I have some dental cement temporary fillings in for now, but I don't really know what to do after this. I know I need to either get them extracted (why wasn't this offered to me right off the bat?), get a couple root canals (not really an option because im poor as fuck and this dentist left me with a 2,000 bill no insurance), or temporarily "fixed" again by the same dentist (for free maybe? is there a guarentee on tooth fillings?) until I can scratch up some cash to get them fixed. I heard I could get dental work done cheaper at a teaching college and there is one near me. If I do go that route I'll get them pulled there.
Do I have any legal rights when it comes to my current dental issue?
Can I maybe get a few of those teeth "pulled" from the bill?
Are root canals and crowns worth it in the long run?

Crowns aren't worth it. It's kind of like a band aid, a temporary fix. The filling can sometimes make them crack and they have to be replaced. Especially if it is a metal filling, the composite ones are better. You can either get root canals or have your teeth pulled and get implant. Regardless you are fucked financially.
Also if I recall correctly most of the time the colleges will only give you cleanings, not any advanced dental work. Worth it to check.

I found out recently a parental figure has been lying to me for almost a decade, ignoring a thing they swore they were not ignoring and now I am experiencing a major setback due to them. This isn't the first time something like this has happened, but it's certainly the biggest, and until it is cleaned up I need to keep in contact. They've burned me many times throughout my life, and I feel like this has just 'clicked' some sort of anxiety button in my brain. I've been more stressed than ever before, possibly due to my anger. So how do I move past my anger, but refuse forgiveness?

As an aside, I imagine part of your anger is at yourself for trusting them/allowing this to happen. Gonna need to learn to forgive yourself if that is the case.

I think I know the answer to this,& I'm pretty sure it's just conflict between my dick and my head. So me and my friend went out downtown and we ended up meeting up with his sister and her friend basicly I was a little fked up and she was to a bit or atleast she kept mentioning. Anywyas first a little bit about my self. I'm 23, 5'8, 300 pounds hispanic man yea I know I'm a obese working on it. Not a virgin or a beta since i have no problem talking to women,flirting even if it does not bare the best result. A reason for it is oviously my weight, not complanomg my own fauky i get it.As a result dor i never dated a women so have no expdriance. So the reason I bring this up is I out a strong exterior out but inside i do feel it. So basicly we dance together and made out she kept bitting me 2. Now her brother cool with it. Anywyas as we're walking to the car cause her friend was pretty sober were holding hand and kissing the couple things I only seen in movies,anime and other couples do. She starts mentioning my other friend and saying how much she loves him ect. All while still making out with me in between. By now I have sober up a bit and keep making out with her as a distracting and to make her aware she currently with me. Hell I even tell her to stop bringing him up. Anywyas we get to the car to go to her friends place. The friend basicly trying to put a sock on it as we talk in her car and I get mad but don't show it cause she's still bringing up my other friend. Now my friend is a well built dude goes to the gym good body good looks just shy as fk and has no personality no trying to be mean but it's how he is. So I decide to say bye,& walk out and my fridge follow anyways my friend follows and we take Uber get to his place. His sis slept over at friend place. Anywyas next morning I excuse my self and go home before she arrives, now frien is cool with it. Fats foward to today 2 weeks later and we decide to go out again and before we leave she's flirting with me

I've got all my documents, no medical complications, a perfect driving record, and never got in trouble with the law.
