So I've been thinking, isn't Lucifer kinda a hero?
He tries to kill OLD TESTAMENT god, who was a huge asshole, made like anything remotely fun a sin and told us to kill infidels or whatever. So he's already doing something pretty dope.
Then he gets cast down to Hell. Now first of all, I should clarify that the Bible never says that Lucifer and Satan are one and the same. But here's my thing; if he gets sent down to Hell, isn't it awfully suspect that the LIGHTBRINGER is sent to Hell?
Beyond that, Lucifer represents Pride, when it comes to the 7 deadly sins. Pride and Lust are probably the two most human and least damaging of the deadly sins, and almost everyone will achieve them in their life.
This isn't your theory and its been around for ever you pea brain
>>19227865
This. Double for the pea brain
>>19227849
Except none of what you said is even remotely based in scripture. Satan is an angel that goes up to heaven in Job and talks to god. He was even only allowed to do evil when god granted him permission to do so. At no point did/does he rebel against god or try to kill him. He is just the angel god sends down to create evil and temptations so as to separate the truly righteous believers from the unbelievers. Such tests being good/necessary because at that point the idea of god being literally omniscient/omnipotent wasn't a thing.
Are there real stories in Creepypasta? Or all are just clever fiction
>>19227776
All fake. But that is the point. They are just amateur writers making up short creepy stories for fun. It's like a modern ghost story or any other kind of folktale people have told at night or around camp fires since the dawn of time.
Some may or may not be based on other legends or based on true events, but the stories are fictional. There are other places to look if you want creepypasta that is meant to be real (like the nosleep subreddit) or for stories that are strictly meant to be real.

This is why I have trust issues.

In this thread we discuss experiences, techniques, wisdom, etc about meditation and the higher realm in general.
I would like to know if anyone has a particular meditation that they've found more effective than others. I've heard that ocean/wave based sounds can help align the inner self with your higher self.
Also, on a related note. Has anyone had any experience with calea ternifolia (dream herb) for lucid dreaming purposes?
I meditate laying on back. I don't get all the autists who claim you NEED to be sitting in lotus position for christ sake. Indians were manlets who had nothing to do all day but sit in that position.
>>19225760
It's easier to breathe sitting up and you are at greater risk of falling asleep if you lay down, but whatever works for you is always the best option.
Try Tien Ta Wan, it's a Chinese herb press. As well as the jow that a similar manufacturer sells. Both have done wonders for my meditation.
Prove to me the earth is round.
>pic related, it's our flat earth being discovered
That looks more like cube earth tho
If it was flat the water would be falling
>>19225653
I like how the water is clearly shooped. Little piece of boat over there.
So, I have a problem. I live in a near 100 year old house, and sometimes usually around midnight or noon, (12:00 am/pm for you kiddos), the lights in my living room will go out for about 15-30 seconds. After that my computer (also in my living room) will turn on and open YouTube. Not any specific videos, just the homepage. When I log off of my computer, i make sure to close out of everything. Can anyone help me with this?
I dunno. Did you check your history?
>>19225461
it seems either to be an electrical problem that cycles a current to turn off electrical things and is specific enough to interact with your computer ex.when i turn on my lamp my computer also turns on because of a electrical connection,so it's either that or a sp00ky ghost your guess really.
>>19225504
An electrical problem wouldn't make the comp go to youtube tho, but I think OP's a faggot and just forgets to close the browser when he shuts his computer
Can anyone here interpret dreams? I can't, but I have started writing down my dreams and I think it would benefit me to get some perspective on what they could mean.
This can also be a general thread for dream interpretation
>>19224812
Why do you need others' help to interpret your own subconscious
It should be easier for you than anyone else
Not OP but I get stuck in sleep paralysis or have night terrors every night. Wtf is my subconscious trying to tell me with that!
>>19224812
You should try /div/, the divination general.
Pretty sure dream interpretation is part of the various ~mancy branches of divination.
I know everything. I'm here to tell you the truth about reality.
>>19224195
What sort of spiritual guidance do you have?
>>19224199
I looked inside my mind. That is all.
Imagine an operating system like Windows. You can remain on the surface and just do emails, browsing etc... but if you wish so you can look up the specs of your system and explore System32 and go into BIOS or . Stuff like that.
Humans are similar.
>>19224205
So you have a lot of information on the human mind? How much information do you have of stuff beyond the mind? Like distant galaxies or cosmic mysteries?
>you walk at night
>you see a UFO
>there are 2 beautiful fairy-like women under it
>They wave to you and invite you to go inside the UFO
Do you go inside? There are two possibilities. You enter a paradise where they massively extend your lifespan and let you be a god in simulated virtual realities.
Or they extend your life span and torture you for centuries every day, because that's what their religion is all about or something.
What do?
>>19224125
Neither sounds pleasant. If those are my only two options, I turn and walk away.
>>19224137
Sorry I didn't make it clear. There is a 50/50 chance that one of those 2 options happens. You can't choose. You have to take a risk.
Also what exactly about the first option doesn't appeal to you? They extend your life span, but you can still die any time you want, totally painless. And in the simulations you can even simulate your life as it is right now and tweak it to your liking.
>>19224155
I still refuse to take the chance.
And the first option is unappealing because I would grow lax, and arrogant. We're not designed to have flawless, perfect lives. I could never simulate something naturally challenging, either.
I might be just a small, weak (relatively) human, but I'm happy with dealing with that.
It's certainly more pleasant than excess torture.
Humanity is in constant pursuit of perfection and happiness, but once we achieve that, there's nothing left to do but self-destruct. Being 'given' that opportunity would nullify any benefits, and so I'd die anyways.
To summarize, I suppose I'll always be much happier as a lowly human, dealing with life and the universe as what I am intended to be in the first place, than either get fucked over for near-eternity or end up dying almost instantly when faced with self-destructive perfection.
Hello /x/
What is the truth about demons? I've read many conflicting things about them and I don't know what to believe. Some say they are evil, some say they helo humanity.
The best example would be Astaroth. She is usually depicted as an ugly male angel, but some say other things.
There is a lot of info on this site, is it legit?
http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/AllDemons.html
I would like to add that I am interested in summoning, but I have no idea what to believe. Any info on goetic demons and evocation would be appreciated.
>>19223907
Every one of us have some demons anon.
They are also tools for beginners.
I've summoned before.
This will be an unpopular opinion, but I do not believe any of it is real in the sense that you are summoning separate entities from other planes to do your bidding and thus it doesn't really matter what you follow so long as you follow something that makes sense to you.
I do think it's real in the sense that I think rituals have power and sitting down and addressing some of your issues with what you have identified as an archetype can help and the aftereffects can manifest themselves in surprising and interesting ways.
Best thing to do is summon yourself and write down your own experiences and create your own database of information.
So heres the thing.. created my tulpa a while back and Im feeling like Ive lost all privacy
When I jack off shes there. when I go to the bathroom SHES THERE. Its rather embarassing. Shes watching me type this too and is upset
Anyway to combat this?
Also: wtf do these things REALLY do when Im not thinking about her? Where do they go?
>Pic related. its her
>>19223691
Well do you watch her do... bathroom related activities?
Not that I care, or any thing.
You get what you deserve weeb.
You're tulpa's KAWAII
Tell me what she says to that
Rob Lowe was almost killed by a Bigfoot in Arkansas recently. What now, nonbelievers?

*teleprots behidn u* heh heh...you never know with a wendigo, bub...*unsheaths ademantian claws*
It's not possible to comprehend not existing and I can go longer enjoy life without being in a state or constant dread (hard materialist atheist) but I want to just enjoy living. I know physically speaking my component parts are eternal even by scientific properties, but my emergent sense of self knows it is also finite and I have no way of imagining existence without my mind.
>>19222065
I recommend Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. But in particular- a Mindfulness course.
If you stick it out, it really works.
As for science and the afterlife? I still remember a very basic principle from high school: energy cannot be destroyed or created but metamorph infinitely into other forms or energy... Could it be possible that 'spiritual' enjoy would follow this rule.
Other points to make:
>existence is a product of consciousness not the other way round, if we have a collective consciousness as living things, this will always exist along with the universe
>What if time exists simultaneously (past present and future) what if when you die, you 'restart'
>Multiverse/infite parallel universes: what if when we die we simply enter another universe as a different version of ourselves in a different setting?
All of the above is theoretical of course. But I believe there is something past death.
>>19222065
Kys
>>19222065
Get into transhumanism, man. The dragon of death won't slay itself, but it's also not too big for man to slay. If we can just hold off socialized healthcare a bit longer and give human individuals the freedom to extend their lives as long as their resourcess allow, we will start seeing some impressive lifespans. Human longevity is merely an engineering problem awaiting the application of sufficient capital.
Hi!
Are vampires real? What are they like? How does a normal human become a vampire? Please post all the info you have on vampires.
