If you're not going to use the exp share, learn to switch at least twice per fight. Hapu's the only thing I was under leveled against, and only by one level(two for the Mudsdale).

Going all the way to Lv. 100 is fucking stupid. That way you can only use each Leader to grind exp. until they reach Lv. 80+ and then they're too damn strong to fight with weaker Pokémon. And them taking back their badges is just autistic.

I don't feel like I need to apologize ahead of time for being a faggot. I'm already on this board so here we go.
Let's not lie to ourselves here. We've all imagine ourselves as pokemon at one point or another. It's implicit if we've all wound up in this bottom of the barrel.
That's not the problem I want to address, though. My jimmies are rustled by the fact that ANYONE who has ever imagined theirselves as pokemon has gone full mary sue and made themselves something cool and/or fuckable regardless of whether or not it represents them as a pokemon.
For instance, when I went to high school there was this neckbeard who had a mega sceptile pokesona. It wasn't that he was a cunt about it, I was just peeved that someone so beta had the liberty to represent himself as something so cool.
Admittedly I imagined myself as a pokemon as well at times, but when I did so I was certain to be modest and realistic. Like, I always considered beldum a good fit on account of the fact that it was stern and fairly intelligent but was also a massively inept fuck-up (can only use take down).
To put things into perspective: Let's say that aliens blasted earth with a death star that turned all human beings on it into the pokemon that best represented them. Imagine the disappointment of the myriad special snowflakes who imagine themselves as triple-cocked palkias and futanari gardevoirs as they are turned into the shitty scummy pokemon that actually fit their personality (like garbodors and muk).
TL;DR IMO you should only have a pokesona whose species fits your personality. I know that imagining oneself as a pokemon is wish fulfillment to begin with, but then again, this is 4chan: land of petty expression of pet peevery.

They're going to try to push it on both.
I know Switch is stronger than the Wii U, but if Smash can be split across a handheld and home console successfully, I think Pokemon can do it too.
If they can't get the next game working on both platforms, they're probably going to prioritize the 3DS version and ditch the Switch version.

Unless it's a non-breedable or a shiny, I'd avoid hyper training because it's such a grind to get to level 100 in this game. Breeding will be quicker for most mons. Just chain a few dittos with different 4IV spreads and breed your mon from there.
Also you need to account for nature as well.
