Shell Smash? It doesn't have a shell to smash. It's not in a cocoon, it's just curled up into a ball. If it broke its exoskeleton I'd assume it would die.

I feel like someone came up with the idea for the move Steamroller specifically from Whirlipede. No Rapid Spin is a sin though.

Scolipede is one of my favourite Pokemon, but I've never used it post Gen 5 after it got buffed.

I even used one in a Nuzlocke and it survived the whole experience despite constantly nearly dying and surviving with less than 10HP. Total bro mon.

Is there anything wrong with me for finding it kind of sexy? Its eyes look so sultry and its body looks so squishy and inviting.

I appreciate how Scolipede has that sort of mimicry where its rear end has horns on it, therefore making it difficult for birds to know which end to attack. (Although aside from Ho-oh I don't know any bird mons large enough to prey on a Scolipede.) It's a nice touch anyway.

Scolipede would probably be fucking terrifying in real life, but in game the constant sleepy (bedroom?) eyes coupled with the squishy-looking belly make it kinda cute (or sexy, as >>30964866 mentions). Either way I'm glad Scoli is viable because it's probably my favorite bug. Now if only they'd give Leavanny some coverage moves.
