No, and I'm sure they never will.

Unlike the human blanks these don't have any real purpose or selling points.
>>
>>6117845
They look like the Strike Dagger and Denan Zon, so that's teh closest you'll get to those stand-in blanks.

Im going to london next week, and I would like to know if there are any good shops to buy figmas or nendoroids.
I will be with family so I want to avoid shops selling anything sexual

>buying import figures from UK stores.

Don't even bother m8. You'll get better prices from Mandarake, Jungle, even ebay 99% of the time, even after you factor in the cost of shipping/importing.

You'll likely just find common/basic figmas for £40-60 and overpriced statues and prize figures.
>>
>>6117794
Forbidden Planet has some of the more basic stuff, Zelda, Attack on Titan etc.

There's Mosaic House on Coventry Street near Piccadilly Circus, never been there but looking at their website they have lods o Figmas/Nendoroids.

Other than that you'd be best looking out for the many comic book shops, but don't get your hopes too high. Tokyo Toys used to have stuff before it closed, but it was mostly overpriced anyway.

If I bought a brand new figure on ebay for $120, but its normally like 200- 250 in price. Does it mean it's probably a bootleg? It's not from China it's from the US.

it depends on what you bought and please tell me that isnt what you bought...

If the item is from china, thailand, Sometimes australia, then perhaps it could be a bootleg. No way of telling until you get it. Do they have a return policy?

Cartoon Network has multiple toyetic properties.
They are also full of cheap assholes who wouldn't part with a penny and would spite you to get one.

Mattel is a toy company with many great licenses.
They are also full of cheap assholes who wouldn't part with a penny and would spite you to get one.

Ergo, this was made. Cheap, junky tie-ins with no more thought than 'we want you to buy our stuff' along with an unimaginative tie-in game because they honestly felt that selling a toyline based on each show's personal merits wasn't worth the trouble. Why bother producing a Rolf with working Hat of Discipline? A Scythecopter Grim with RC control and Real Voiceover? A plush Coco with an egg you could store secret messages in or somesuch.

Easy, saleable ideas, but instead, you get cookie cutter work.

Getting:
Springload (Legion)
Fangry, Shuffler, Repugnus
Gnaw, Brawn, Bumblebee/Chase
Perceptor

Do I get Bumblebee or Chase? I'm rather fond of Bumblebee as well as obscure characters, and I don't think I have a good Bee in good condition - but I don't want to get both of them either.

And do I really need Triggerhappy? Was going to get Doublecross but I'm nervous about the clear plastic.

Have a funny for the blog post.
>>
>>6117186
I got Chase. Bb is warming the pegs and I'll wait for it to hit clearance.
The mold is pretty good. It's like a redone version of the old classics legends bb. It tabs and holds together really well. I thought it would be flimsy like TR wheelie but it's a big improvement.

With chase/roadburn as the red repaint, willwe see a cliffjumper version?

And will Legends Brawn be released as Rollbar eventually?
>>
>>6117186
Find a classics bee (I recommend the one with white accents, I do not recommend the RTS version or the one in the 3 pack), get Chase.

Are the Figuarts Sailor Moon figures the best you can get?
20 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>6116462
Yeah I guess. They're pretty good. Paint jobs can be a little sloppy sometimes and joints can either be too loose or too stiff but overall they are fine for the price. Just make sure you get official ones and not the bootlegs that flooded the market almost immediately.
>>
>>6116462
I own Sailor Moon and whilst she isn't perfect, she's a fun toy. Articulation is great and the likeness is spot on, but the paint is a bit iffy in places.

As the guy above said, avoid the bootlegs like the plague. They are unspeakably awful.
>>
>>6116462
I have all of them except for Tuxedo Mask and the ComicCon exclusives (Sailor V, Imposter, Anime colors). I haven't bothered ordering the Crystal version, R Version, or Super Mercury. Kinda running out of room on my display, but would like to get Tuxedo Mask at some point.

They're sort of improving with every release. They're good, albeit fragile in a few ways. My first release Sailor Moon and Neptune both have their arms fall off at times and they're very irritating to put back together because the sleeve likes to just fall off the ball and try to get lost into oblivion. I really do not advise taking off their arms and using the "crossed arm" pieces that Uranus and Neptune come with.

Mercury and Mars had short necks, but I hear their rereleases have made them more proportionate.

Most of them come with a great amount of detailed accessories, but I'm bummed Chibimoon didn't come with Diana or Luna P. Black Lady came with the dark Luna P. Uranus came with an extra Moon face (heart eyes). First edition Moon came with a couple of extra faces, but it's up to you as to whether they'd be worth it or not, seeing as she has some problems.

All of them come with their own stands, which is pretty great.

For whatever reason, Pluto's hair is a hard plastic (I am guessing ABS) and doesn't give much freedom like Mars and Venus's hair do.

If you're considering them, get one and try it out. Super Sailor Moon, Chibimoon, and the inners have been going pretty cheaply lately.

For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

***Non-Gundam Group Build***

So this is pretty straightforward, build something that isn't Gundam. I literally do not care what it is, if it's not Gundam it counts (and just to get this out of the way, Bandai is fine). I do not require full paint jobs this time either, as I know the vast majority of people here build Bandai and that's it.

This is also not a prize build, but a regular group build.

It's beautiful, but a litteral pain in the ass to get used to.
It also has some joint issues.
Sculpt and paint are fine.

I really love it, and I think the high price is justified, but I wish they put a little more effort in having the gimmicks working a little better.

How do we get companies to make the toys we want?

Fans got Neca to make Scarface after asking for a figure hundreds and hundreds of times, but then again, Neca already works with Predators and already had the body mold necessary.
Still, making sure that as many people as possible ask for the same toy can only help.

Got Soul of Chogokin GoLion/Voltron a few days ago.As awesome as it is, and probably the best Voltron toy out there, it reminded me of this ambitious trainwreck, Mattel's 23'' tall Voltron. While its nowhere near as refined, I gotta admit I love a pilot gimmick, and I had a Panosh Place Voltron KO as a kid so its close to its spiritual successor.
