Is anyone here having issues with chipped edges in brand new sets? I got back into Lego a few years ago and eventually gathered enough to where they started getting dirty. I looked up ways to clean them online and a lot of people said put them in the washing machine. I did and then examined them to find chipped edges. I thought they didn't have any before I washed them like that, but I bought new sets and decided to examine them as soon as I opened the package. These unwashed, new sets had chipped edges and so far all the new sets I've bought regardless of theme have had the same problem.

what's the best faction

Local walmart had the scuttler for $74.88, a nice $5 off MSRP, and a full $20 less than the TRU tax. Fun build, lots of 2017 pieces (including the 1x1 corner snot brick), and it kinda looks like a Zoid!

They had most of the other new sets too, but I wasn't interested in going broke. Probably similar less-than-suggested-retail prices, though. I'll be back for Catwoman chase.

I got them at "Baumarkt", which is a german hardware store (not sure if that's the right expression, basically a store with supplies for home improvement). I've heard of Americans finding these things at Walmart (I think), but since we don't have Walmart here I had to find an alternative.

Everybody loves Purple. It's basically a color of villains, supernatural monsters/alien monsters or other badass things.
This is the first time i see people think that purple can be for girls only.

But obviously Lego cant use purple all the time because as i mentioned - its a very specific color. There literally no such color in City themes for example because purple don fit into everyday life.
Yet there are tons of purple in evil Crow sets from Chima or current villains of Nexo Knights or those Mixel-monsters.

So this time its not Patriarchy that made it disappear.
Its a logic of color use.

I've been trying to restore the color on my XL gray baseplates. These were sitting in the sun and hydrogen peroxide for a day before it rained and diluted my 3% hydrogen peroxide. I let them sit in that for another day, but the progress hasn't been noticeable. They are much cleaner than they were when I got them, but what should I do about the color? Another hydrogen peroxide bath? Oxiclean?

The picture has the middle one upside down so you can see the ideal color.
