Sooooo where are all the "GW is an inevitably sinking ship" folks today? In fact these past few months theres been an awful silence and lack of posting of GW stocks and general predictions of doom for the company.
What gives? Wheres your predictions of doom now?
>>53848586
8th edition inspired hope, and basically the "Doom" of GW is something we post during the slow season when there's not a bunch of new Shit for us to talk about and get angry at.
Most of our complaints can be resolved by somebody posting something new to chew the fat on rather than having to recycle the same topics over and over again until they stagnate into extreme pessimism.
>>53848586
>What gives? Wheres your predictions of doom now?
This might come as a shock, but people can change their views based on the behaviour change of a company.
Kirbys GW was crashing down, people hated it and stock was falling. New CEO made changes in business model, especially by moving community management from non existent to one of the best in the industry. This all can be seen from stock rates that are going up instead of down.
Tl;Dr
GW got its shit together, people liked it.
T-theyre just a-about to crash g-guys
Any m-minute now
Okay guys, i need Elves that fill the role of the charismatic friend and or mentor of the group. Not the "i´m the mighty and mysterious edgy elf"-kind but the "hey we like this dude, he helps out a lot"-kind. He will turn out to be the BBEG like, 15-20 sessions later.
He will have a good reason, doing the 'wrong' things for a 'good' cause, like using bad artifacts to unite a kingdom.
>>53848533
Gender lock or no?
>>53848456
>He will turn out to be the BBEG like, 15-20 sessions later.
This is about as cliche as "i´m the mighty and mysterious edgy elf". Just sayin'.
Paizo Games General /pgg/ (also /pfg/, Pathfinder, and Starfinder)
How do you write goals for your characters? Aspirations! Motivations! Stuff like that.

Protag messaged those changes to me a week ago, I just didn't want to change the first bit of the backstory until the setting data was more or less complete and I had the full picture to work with.

Muslims. They do some ork like shit when I went to Afghanistan and Iraq like blindly firing small arms, RPGs and mortars thinking devine will is going to guide them to us. They also did things like take steel plates from Soviet invasion era wrecks and use them for body armor, take the glow in the dark paint from aircraft instrument panels and try to make not optics by smearing it on the glass of PSO scopes for SVDs (they knew enough to aim with sniper rifles some how) Not to mention the Kyber pass where they build guns with mere scraps and anvils.

But yes.they tried using glow in the dark paint to make cheap night scopes.
Can you guys link me some good /tg/ youtube channels please?

Matthew Colville running the game, It address dungeon master advice or Web DM.they talk, and I listen.
>>53848114
Yes to Matt Colville. No to DawnForgedCast. YMMV on Matt Mercer and Taking20.
>>53848114
Not /tg/-related, but I feel they're enjoyed by much of /tg/:
JonTron and Nostalgia Critic.
They've both got golden reactions, which are a boon to our gif and image folders, but they also engage in our favorite pasttime of finding terrible things and mocking them relentlessly.
JonTron is more funny, but Nostalgia Critic actually has good discourse that honestly engages you and makes you think. He's willing to list good points as well as bad, and his arguments have plenty of merit in settings and how to run a story.
Plus, they have great reviews of Darkest Dungeons and D&D the movie.
Not to mention Nostalgia Critic created the greatest Slaaneshmas song ever... Someone needs to Grimdark Songwrite that one.

How do you guys handle hygiene in medieval settings? For those of you who didn't take evercleansed anyway.
>>53847710
People in the medieval era were far more hygienic than most people give them credit for. Most of the "never bathes" memes originate from the Victorian era, when the rivers and such were filled with filth and could get you sick for bathing.

Does anyone else think hand crossbows are stupid?
>>53847351
HAM's a fairly balanced feat at most levels, because so many enemies scale their damage with multiattack rather then one huge 20d6 and it's rare for a creature to have magic attacks.
At 1-5 it makes you an near unkillable lord over the puny creatures and their 1d6+1 attacks though.
>>53847361
Very much so.
>>53847361
Out of all the dumb equipment and weapon options, you cross the line at hand crossbows?
Are there any good systems for a wild/weird western game?

What about Deadlands
Forgive me if this has been asked before, but who else can see "BJ" Blazowicz fitting right into 40k?
He's certainly more interesting than Sly Marbo, so I guess my question is this: Do you think a "parody" version of him will be created officially, or will it be worth converting him up?
I don't think he and the space nazis would get along very well.
>>53847136
doomguy would bee more fitting if we are taling about ID protagonists.
>>53850223
I don't know. He might come around after he realizes there are far worse things than space nazis out there.

That's 5 fucking Nissa Planeswalker cards in Standard. I mean, 2 of them are Planeswalker deck jank, but still.
Holy fuck did they intentionally make a terrible 7 mana walker just to make Nicol Bolas seem like a less terrible 7 mana walker?
>>53847224
It's a planeswalker deck card. They are all intentionally awful
For some reason

Black Templars: ultra loyalist or crypto-heretics?will they kill any primaris marines they are allocated as heritics or bow to our Spiritual Liege?
tainted by choas. no librarians. most likely believe in a mix of the Emporer and malice. Probably unknowingly
>>53845396
GW doesn't have the balls for an Imperial schism like that. There will be grumbling but everybody will accept their Primaris like good goyim.
>>53846604
a Rome like East West Schism with "officially peaceful" cooperation between the two sides would be fucking great. Right about the lack of balls though
