Okay guys, i need Elves that fill the role of the charismatic friend and or mentor of the group. Not the "i´m the mighty and mysterious edgy elf"-kind but the "hey we like this dude, he helps out a lot"-kind. He will turn out to be the BBEG like, 15-20 sessions later.
He will have a good reason, doing the 'wrong' things for a 'good' cause, like using bad artifacts to unite a kingdom.

This is about as cliche as "i´m the mighty and mysterious edgy elf". Just sayin'.
It shouldn´t be too painfuly obvious that he turns on them later.
No one suspects Bishie Glorfindel

I beg to differ, assuming that without knowing the setting or story makes no sense. We play the campaign over a year by now and they didn´t meet a single bbeg so far and about 1-2 elves. They got a lot of friends and companions by now and meeting a full fledged elf they can communicate and share knowledge with is something new to them. They probably (as far as i know them) have great interest in having him around and won´t suspect him to turn on them, since they have a great distrust in anyone. They stopped sense motive spamming anything half a year ago because they excepted they are in the wrong 90% of the time when it´s about solving who is behind everything. So, using something "common" or "cliche" is the least expected thing right now.

Yes, has to be male. He will have a wife which will turn into a banshee later on.

Look no further friend.

Have I got the perfect image for you. He even has doughnuts hanging off his coattails. No one who wears doughnuts could possibly be the BBEG.
The only male elf image I even have has a lady elf in it as well.
(but it's okay, most male elves can be mistaken for ladies anyway)
