Yesterday I drove into a ditch going about 50 mph and smacked the bottom of my 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 and the crankshaft heater unplugged I know that but will that cause the engine light to flash? The truck doesn't have any cosmetic damage and it seems to run a little rough now what could be the problem?

New in town, need wheels. Got $5000, would like something different from my mom's 2004 Toyota (practically a $3K civic). Know the snow can get pretty bad in this remote corner of the Northeast.

Looking at a E46 3.0L awd with 103,041miles for $4800. Free VIM checks say one owner with no accidents. Will need to find a way to get to the lot to test drive it; dealer is 50 miles away. Anything i need to know to buy a used bimmer other than its gonna swallow my paycheck in new parts? Its not like i have much of a choice in AWD sedans at my budget.

What do Volkswagen interiors smell like? My uncle had a 2000 gold growing up and there was always this strange smell in it. My friend had a newer Jetta and it smelled similar. I'm trying to figure out a way to describe it. People have told me it smells like crayons but I don't really agree.
