Then google how to de-restrict them. Theres heaps of stuff on it.

Do some research yourself, and then find the Daily Bike Thread and ask more questions there. Theres a LAMS bike guide there, if you asked you could find it. I dont have it.

The SV650SU is the one you want, 2009-2012 models.
The SV650UA is the new one thats probably more than 7k at the moment.

Buy Japanese and buy something with less than 50k kms.

Don't get something obscure and hard to get parts for (like a GSX-R250, for instance) because if it breaks you're fucked.

Spend at least $1000 on gear, because you'll regret it if you don't and you crash.

If you want to go fast buy an MC22 or a restricted 650. Keep in mind that if you drestrict your 650 and crash and your insurance finds out (and they will) youll be treated as if you were riding with no license (because riding a bike you don't have a licence for = riding with no licence) and you will get dicked with the force of a thousand suns.

The RVF400 or CB400SF are a fair bit faster and still LAMS, Same with literally every 450cc Dirt bike. Not to mention Aprilia SVX550's. God knows why they are LAMS
