What's more popular among blacks? Donks or lowriders (slabs included)?
Donks
Lowrider culture is heavily Latino and Latino influenced
>>17862351
I read that slabs are popular with blacks in Houston. So I guess lowriders are Latino and donks and slabs are black?
i dont live in the US
i always see donk shit and assume its not that common, kinda like a show car or hardcore xzibit fans
do you guys actually see this shit on the daily? what happens if they have to drive on anything but perfect freshly paved roads?

Fuck Brewer.
>saw one in real life
Pictures do not give this thing justice
My friend's older brother recently bought a white RX-7 just like in that pic.
I don't know if they're just naturally extremely low, but fuck me it was REALLY low, like below my waist low. And so was pic related. These are the only two RX-7 FDs I've seen in person.

>those riveted fenders
Disgusting
why did daddy GM hat them so much?
Nigger tier GM
Because burgertards are more interested in buying "luxury" versions of chebby cuckovers and cucktrucks for $10k+ over the price they could have paid for the same exact thing.
God I hate GMC. Literally no reason for it to exist besides the general public being badgewhore retards.
Because Oldsmobile was bett...
Where'd the van thread go? Post more vans, dammit!
Also what's with all the van threads lately? It's making me want to go buy a project pedomobile now.

Posting cutest van
Post Pictures, Specs, Etc.
All about nice fitments & clean aesthetics
Am I the only person here that has that good fitment? I feel like alot of people on this board hate stanced cars, I don't know why, probably just poverty tier faggots.

>anyone have an idea what to do or where to stationed them?
Upgrade the exhaust, drop a big ass fucking powerful engine in there, drop some money on a paintjob (racing stripes, so it goes faster), and park it on the lawn when you're not using it.
Alternatively, park that car in the drive way, and park your new piece of bullshit on the lawn.

Post actual pics, you might have a gem.
Alright I'm back you fuckers. Here's the scoop (old thread is dead AF so starting new one)
> Dad gets home
> At first he's angry as fuck
> Runs into house asking what in the fuck happened?
> I got it towed into my driveway for $100
> Panic and I tell him the wheel fell off
> He buys it
> Starts talking about how he had the tires rotated less than a week ago
> He calls his insurance company and gets it picked up and files a claim
> We go to the tire shop he got the wheel rotated
> He goes in threatening to sue and the shop manager agrees that if we don't sue he'll pay our deductible and gives us free rotations for life
> Breddy good
What's the worst that couls come of this lads? I'm actually stoked it came out okay in the end. I get to keep the money I saved and also don't get in trouble. It's a win win.
> Also i took some more pictures before they towed the truck away.
>What's the worst that couls come of this lads? I'm actually stoked it came out okay in the end. I get to keep the money I saved and also don't get in trouble. It's a win win.
Popped for insurance fraud is probably worst case. the claim gets denied and your Dad makes you pay anyway because it happened to you.
You get caught lying and you get a whuppin too.

holy shit
So I am looking into buying a new car (not like BRAND new, but new to me). I live in the mid-west so winters can be brutal so i would like something that can get through yearly. I also commute to school and work everyday, and occasionally take trips, so something that is pretty good on gas would be good. Should I look into small SUVs or cross-overs as well? i really am at a loss, any advice on models, brands etc would be super helpful! (budget is 15,000..if i could spend more i totally would)also should mention I don't drive manual (that limits my options i know )
>winters can be brutal
the answer is always miata
>>17861954
Any kind of Honda Accord, Toyota Camry or Subaru Outback(if you want awd). Winters aren't that bad if you have snow tires, unless you live on unpaved roads in which the only advice I could give you is ground clearance

>180-degree SLP Performance Parts Thermostat
>Stage 4 4t65e-hd transmission rebuild
>ZZP stage 2 axles
So Im looking at getting a 94-99 miata and welding the diff and make a fun weekender/drift car...
My question is do I have to completely remove the diff or can I raise it take the cover off and have my buddy do it on the spot?
Just get one w/ a stock LSD...
>>17861882
I will hunt you down and weld your dick the diff.

Drain half the oil out and fill the rest will flour. It will work about as well.
Going to look at a Fiero tomorrow, what do you think about them? Anything specific I should be aware of or look for?
>1986 Pontiac FIERO
>5 speed
>40,xxx miles
>Runs on starting fluid
>No time to look into it
>$800 call for more info
Guy runs a towing service, so that is convenient. He says it was last on the registered for 2012, guy passed away and the wife remarried and it sat in the garage, only got around to working on cleaning the garage now. They pushed it out and called the guy and had it towed away. No fuel pressure, but its rust free. Rats nest under the hood, but didn't get into the interior.
unironically need to use this as a DD at some point

electrical gremlins, and fires
basically go through everything that could go bad and replace it, you gonna wrench it as a second car? totally fucking do it, its kick ass. if not, dont bother, youll be under it more than you are in it
This poem is dedicated to the Trabant.
Like a self-damned Sisyphus
Pushing boulders up his hill
My fondness forced on upwards
Yet I'll never have my fill
Kindred of the Mariner
Bound forever to the seas
drifting about lifelessly
never to embrace your breeze
I strove towards the heavens
my quest your passionate fire
fettered now to this cold earth
never to venture higher
And yet I carry onwards
In this never-ending pain
Holding on to fragile hope
that my love will never wane
I would legitimately buy a if not quite a Trabant a Trabant-like car if it had a modern motor of the same or a bit higher strength, think of the mileage you could achieve!
bretty gud, anon.
How difficult is it to get these deathtraps into the US?
Thoughts?
Valkyrie is cooler

Hello /o/ I own a N/A 1991 Toyota MR2 that's been experiencing some vibration issues at idle, the car idles at ~800 rpm and it vibrates at idle, once I get above 1000 rpm it smooths out, I suspect it to be the motor mounts but I'm not sure, what do you think?
>>17861794
It could be a fucked cat if you haven't gotten rid of it/gutted it yet
I got a 1988 SC MR2. Cold it idles at 1.5k, warm it idles at 500. It has a moderate oil leak so that explains it.
>>17861794
If the vibration is engine speed-dependent and it's happening at low RPM only then your guess about motor mounts is probably correct. Replace them.
I have a 2000 Camry LE. Right now it has 205/65/r15 Tires. What ill effects will i suffer from maybe going all the way up to 215/70/r15?
>>17861786
Reduced gas mileage. That's pretty much it.
Ever so slightly bigger sidewall. A centimeter wider. Technically increased grip and softer ride. The downside would be higher weight and more drag at cruising speed.
Besides what the other guys have mentioned, it'll also look retarded
