I don't get the different coloured wheel meme. I have been seeing this a lot lately, and it just looks fucking retarded.
I have already tried a permatex rearview mirror adhesive kit which is a silicon, I let it sit over night and then reattached the mirror onto the circular mount. Im thinking it that either the kit is trash, or that the frit where the mirror is supposed to be mounted got in the way. The frit is those little bllack dots and the band that goes around the windshield. For some reason this particular windshield has it going down the middle from the top as well. I looked it up and it says it is a porcelain or ceramic based paint, so I am now trying JB weld Clearweld epoxy because it says it is designed for metal and ceramic. If that doesnt work, well I am running out of ideas.
Also I should note that the mirror probably fell off in the first place because of the high heat in my area. I think that it got to 112 F that day and the surface was probably enough to weaken the original adhesive enough for the mirror to all. That is why I decide to use the JB weld epoxy, because it 4400 psi and a max temp of 300 F.
did you clean the surface at all? Also scuff the frit a little bit to promote better adhesion.

Walmart sells a piece of adhesive designed literally just for this. It's usually around the jb weld and stuff

>Walmart sells a piece of adhesive designed literally just for this
Yes, and it's shit.
Ask your mechanic to use their specialist adhesives to stick it back on.
Also, your windscreen is NOT 'metal or ceramic'. It is plastic.
I'll start:
I'm too lazy to put a pic of my car but it's a 2006 Ford Mustang GT

What is the very best daily driver economy car you can buy, and why is it the 1st gen Mazda 3 Hatch?
thats not a civic
>>17823255
that's a funny way to spell geo metro
>1st gen Mazda 3 Hatch
What's left of one. The wheel arches on them make Toyota truck wheel arches seem like they're made of granite.
about to move out soon, what are some reliable cars that are old enough to have cheap monthly insurance and under 3k (maybe a little over)? Was thinking about getting a Civic VX or a volvo 242
I just had some Tein Street Advanced coilovers installed and I noticed the damper was clicked well past 16 clicks when I was tightening them to the tightest setting (turned till it wouldn't click anymore) anyone else have this? I wanna make sure these things aren't ruined.

Hey /o/ i need some help here
I bought my very own 2016 Focus ST a few months ago, changed the oil about two weeks ago used about 5.7 quarts of 5w-30 (what i believe is ford's specs)
and that damn oil pressure guage just loves to sit so low it scares me. I added a bit more, hit just below 70psi when high rpms and cold oil, once it warms up it would stay 35psi while accelerating and then get to maybe 7psi or so while sitting still at 700rpm idle. I've heard this guage is not even very accurate and i just don't want to ruin my brand new car.
I cant remember what the guage typically did when i first got it because i was not so paranoid, this was my first time changing my oil on my own.
Maybe the guage was all the way over in the 70 range. I don't ever remember it being this low. I added an additional .3 quarts initially and just removed the extra wondering if i had magnified my problem. I don't believe it did. Should I add some more back?
tldr: noobie questions :2016 Focus st oil gauge reads very low at idle, I'm certain the vehicle possesses the manufacturers reccomended 5.7quarts. Is it advisable to add additional oil (i'm hoping .3-.7qts whould do it) until the gauge reads at least 10psi at hot idle?
Pic related mine kind of looks like that, perhaps a bit lower.
One bump for ol' scratch

you're fine then
Redpill me on the 2000 BMW 530i lads, is this the best deal I have stumbled upon?
https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/d/2001-bmw-530i-6-cyl-t-180k/6274496278.html
>$1,000 OBO
>180k miles
>Comfy, easy to wipe leather seats
>Mismatched door and faded clear coat for added street cred
>Worn everything
>CEL
>Autotragic
>One of 6 cylinders is failing
>Front tires have 60% tread, rear tires are fresh
This seems like an absolute joy to restore, mantain, and DD. What would I be getting into if I decided to work on this myself?
>>17822330
That's a 1500 dollar car that needs 4 thousand in work. So you're three grand upside down. Why not just buy a nicer example?
>>17822339
I thought of that, and I found this one that runs.

I personally prefer the 530i trim though.
Hello guys, long time lurker here, I just made my first youtube video and I know the editing sucks but I wanted to put anything up so I can look back and see the progress, I already have more ideas on editing and am willing to invest more time into this but you gotta start somewhere.
Anyways it's about 5 vintage sports cars you might have not heard of.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uiPtHZVlw4&feature=youtu.be
I would like to hear which one would you rather have and why?
Fuck off to reddit with that clickbait shit
Also there's a cool Hai 450 Wallpaper above.
I want to put a planetary gear set after my CVT.
Now there are 5 settings one can have in a planetary gear set:
1.Neutral
2.Reverse
3.Over Drive
4.Gear Reduction
5.Direct Drive
Now in my case all i want is the first three.
> The question i have for you guys is using a push pull cable how could i control the planetary gears to achieve Neutral, Reverse and Over Drive.
If someone can draw a quick diagram or refer me to a video/blueprint i would really appreciate it.
>>17822116
Im sorry what the fuck are you trying to do? Put a transmission behind a transmission?
>>17822273
CVT + PLANETARY GEAR SET + SHIFTER SYSTEM.
CVT: many speeds
Planetary Gear Set: Gives you F, N and R
Shifter: Lets you shift into F. N and R
OP isn't capable of doing the work unless he/she/xir is a very experienced mechanic and machinist. He/she/it apparently doesn't know this.
>If someone can draw a quick diagram or refer me to a video/blueprint i would really appreciate it.
You can fucking use a search engine to get nice animootions on Jewtube of how planetary gears work. You being too lazy to do that means you will not build anything so fuck off and die.
You haven't a clue. Go get one. This is not /spoonfeedidiots/, it's /o/
hello /o/
what's the name of the wheel in the picture?

FINALLY A CAR NAME THAT MAKES SENSE
Pretty much all the RS models are still pretty great, and I quite like what they did to show EVs can be fun as well.
You should be able to solve this.
