I tried reading the sticky but is it concurrent with the year 2017?

To be clear what Tata is doing is they are simply supporting JLR financially and in return they give tech to Tata to make his cars better. Tata in no way has involved even a bit in JLR design or engineering. And Tata admitted to the following above and it is all evident everywhere. Please don't spread misinformation.
Because Americans are stupid.
>Don't buy local brand cars
>Local brand goes under,
>Govt bails them out
>They keep making terrible cars and giving zero fucks about recalls
Even if they don't buy the cars, their government makes them pay out through tax dollars anyway.

What's the best method of finding sports cars in decent condition for a bargain price in Australia?

luck.
Decent condition and bargain do not go together.

I would assume it's just like in any other country:
>check listings often since good deals get snapped up quickly
>have plenty of friends in the car community (they might offer to sell something to their friends on facebook before they put it up on autotrader or whatever)
When buying a car from a dealership (franchise dealers) do they take care of the registration and plates?
If they do, do I need to provide address proof for the mailing address. I'm new to a city where I don't have a permanent address and won't have one for the next few months but still need to buy a car.
I was thinking of giving them my relatives address who live about 2 hours away. Is this allowed?

>hen buying a car from a dealership (franchise dealers) do they take care of the registration and plates?
Yes. And just tell them to hold the plates at the dealership and you'll come pick them up
I have a car with disc breaks up front and drums in the rear. Last summer, I replaced rotors and drums in addition to the pads. This was their first change in 150k.
They operate fine but recently I notice a squeaking when the breaks are lightly applied within the first mile of operation. It seems to go away after they heat up.
What gives? Did I fuck something up?
>>17828787
Did you replace the brake pad retaining clips as well?
>>17828793
Yep.
>>17828787
Did you use ceramic pads?
They're, known to do that.
Any recommendations on driving gloves? When my hands get sweaty, I have trouble holding the wheel.
>>17828744
I personally use Sparco RG-5s when I'm on the track, but honestly, anything from Sparco would work.

But for road use stop being gay and buy a steering wheel that doesnt get you sweaty or just angle the ac vents to hit your hands
Driving gloves are great. I would probably recommend ones with holes around the knuckles. These gloves are skin tight so they need to be able to flex as much as possible. Otherwise your hands will ache because they're fighting the gloves to stay flexed.
Name a more important hot hatch
Id say a legend that stayed in production for 30 years is more important than some obscure shitbox no one cares about

Sup /o/, question.
I just picked up this F4i today but I'm not sure if I want to keep this or sell my SV650S. The title has the previous owners name on it and the bike is currently non-op.
Can I just leave it like this if I want to flip it or do I have to register it in my name now? California btw
Im in a predicament /o/ I have been thinking of the next car I want to get and I have narrowed it down to the Subaru Baja or a Pontiac G8 GT. Anyone got any personal experience with these cars?
Is the Baja turbo? If it is, it would be a fine investment. The G8 would be more comfortable and have lots of modding potential.

So my '98 Corolla with over 400.000 kms is finally dying and I'm planning on buying a car to replace it, should I buy a new Dacia or Skoda, or should I rather buy a slightly used Chevrolet?
I'm planning on driving the car until it's completely dead.
>>17826845
just rebuild the corolla.

As a driver of a 2003 Skoda Superb (1.9 TDI, 101 HP), with 390 k km on the clock without major hickups, I'd say go for a Skoda. Which model you had in mind? Rapid, Fabia, Octavia?

why would you want a car made by subhuman romanian filthy gipsyes?
Here's the deal. Back in January my ancient camry bit the dust. Friend of mine gave me one of the 50cc scooters he's got to get around on. It gets me where I need to go within about 3 miles or so, but it's not a permanent solution.
Been saving for a car but I'm getting it in my head that a motorcycle may make more sense. Here's why. Car insurance was $70/m, was using about $45/m in gas so that's like a tenth of my income just for having a car. So I'm thinking just pick up some 80s bike for cheap and daily it. Insurance is like $75 per year and even a thirsty bike will do 50mpg. Unless I'm completely retarded I could get a better bike for $1500 than car.
Financially does this even make sense? I know riding in rain and cold blows but I'm kind of used to it now. I'm just trying to save some money and the lack of running costs on a scooter has been great, it's just too damn slow to haul my fat ass anywhere far.
