I want to put a planetary gear set after my CVT.
Now there are 5 settings one can have in a planetary gear set:

1.Neutral
2.Reverse
3.Over Drive
4.Gear Reduction
5.Direct Drive

Now in my case all i want is the first three.

If someone can draw a quick diagram or refer me to a video/blueprint i would really appreciate it.

CVT + PLANETARY GEAR SET + SHIFTER SYSTEM.

CVT: many speeds
Planetary Gear Set: Gives you F, N and R
Shifter: Lets you shift into F. N and R

OP isn't capable of doing the work unless he/she/xir is a very experienced mechanic and machinist. He/she/it apparently doesn't know this.

You can fucking use a search engine to get nice animootions on Jewtube of how planetary gears work. You being too lazy to do that means you will not build anything so fuck off and die.

well i understand how planetary gears work.
i needed newer ideas on how to attach the shifter.
but i guess ill use the basic manual transmission "dog clutch" system
