80% of the ads on CL are retarded
It's literally filled with low life dealers, foreigners and poor people, or morons who think their car is somehow much thousands of dollars more than what other people list that same car for. It's a fucking cesspool
Sup /o/ I'd like honest opinions on full size pickup trucks. I am gonna need a pickup soon enough... Here are my needs :
-4 doors
-6 foot+ bed
-AWD
-towing capacity circa 7,000lbs
-Decent reliability
I'm gonna use this tuck mostly for a DD, I live in a really rough climate (tons of snow and freezing temp). I need to carry some construction materials once or twice a month. The truck will tow an RV of roughly 5,000lbs empty.
I am looking to spend about 30,000$. Here are my options : all trucks are 2014my
V8 Silverado
V8 F150
Ecoboost F150
V8 Ram
V8 Titan
Any advices ? Pros and cons ? Any input is appreciated.
no one ?
I'd go for the chevy, the eco boost isnt great for towing and dodge is just a meme at this point.
Can't go wrong with the 5.3, tons of them around now and fairly easy to maintain
Dodge is for show
Fix Or Repair Daily
I've had a lot of good experience with Silverados from 1998-2008 I'm not quite sure about the newer ones though.
In case you missed it all earlier today

Where were you when you realized the 1997 Chrysler Sebring 2-door was one of the most beautiful body designs of all time?
Lebaron was much much prettier
whenever i see a Chrysler or a Nissan I always check to see if the occupants are black
Hey guys so I was driving this morning, and I parked in a tight spot, so I saw that it wasn't good the first time and I reversed and checked my blind spots, however since I didn't see the car I hit, I found a place to park immediately, and walked out to see the damage. The car I hit only had a scratch and a tiny crack, and I gave her my info, and everything, and there was minimal damages (just a scratch and a tiny crack, no dents, bumps, injuries etc), do you think the person I hit will file a claim in this incident ? Please help /o/
depends on the person
at least you did the right thing
>>17843610
thanks man, i felt really bad from that incident because the person i tapped was driving their parents car, and she seemed calm about it too, i'm just praying that she'll forgive me for it and not file a claim for something so small, hell i even offered her to clean up her scratches myself and she denied it
Remember Champcar?
How powerful would the XF engine be without its turbocharger?
Do you have a bumper-to-bumper warranty?
Is it worth it?
If you drive a pos that breaks a lot yes.
> Haven't dusted or wiped down the interior of my car in like a year
> Some gross coffee spots from spilled coffee on centre console
> Just so happen to throw away garbage and other debris that accumulated in my car, so despite the fact the surfaces aren't clean, it's not filled with crap
> Hear "OMG Anon, your car is so clean!" constantly
Do norms just keep their cars in a constant state of being filled with shit and garbage? Because that's what it seems like based on the comments I receive.
>Do norms just keep their cars in a constant state of being filled with shit and garbage?
Yes
Hi guys, there are two videos of pornstar I like where she's in or near a car. They look kind of similar, and I think they may be the same mercedes, but I'm not sure. Could you help me identifying? I'll be posting the links and the SFW pics.

Brought my car to a shop earlier to get a problem diagnosed that i cant figure out for the life of me. think any of you guys know the problem?
02 v6 pontiac firebird autotragic
whenever it sounds like its going to shift up, it sounds like there's an air leak coming from the back of the engine bay (i know transmissions don't use air pressure). only happens when throttle is between 50%-90% down. doesn't sound as loud when cold, berely noticeable when i first start driving. i usualy fix my own shit but this stumped me so hard i gave up. any ideas? can feel transmission slipping when it makes that sound so maybe new torque converter/tranny/both?
You ever seen a kaido racer Mustang II? Now you have.
>>17843035
>that shit
>a kaido racer
I think japanese kaido racers make sure their cars don't look like complete shit and attach parts that make the body flow as opposed to looking like a cardboard box

Would you rather have a FWD ICE car or a RWD electric car? Let's say both make 250hp/250tq
FWD ICE. I like going to the mountains a lot which is usually a 400km trip. Some weekends I do 800km trips with nowhere to charge up. There's no charging stations in the middle of nowhere and no cell service.
Maybe the EV in 20 years time when batteries finally pack more energy than a ham and cheese sandwich.
ICE. It won't lose power once it's out of 0RPM, and it actually has more than one gear.
rwd electric any day

I really hate you, but there's just something really charming about your existence and constant shitposts.

im really getting into chrome. i think its still fashionable cuz its not really.
Does anybody else just wait for the stop signal to change to walk instead of going when there aren't any cars due to OCD?
This isn't really an automotive question.
But yeah I do that, but only because the roads in burgerland are fucking enormous.
>>17842783
Nope, I do it so my ass doesn't get run over.
Of course, I live in LA, so that might make a small difference.
NYC, some jack ass got his shit in a stir because he wanted to go but couldn't decide if I wanted to or not, I was waiting for the signal.
