One day you will collide with another car and you will have to exchange insurance details breaking your no claims discount
One day you'll commit suicide after realizing no one wants to talk to you in real life and over the internet.
Too late for me

Fuck dude I'm actually scared of being In an accident. What if a nigger hits me and runs away? Or they don't even have insurance? One time i swerved from getting hit but i should've just hit him I could've got a new car kek. Kinda wish i did hit them they ran a stop sign
Why doesnt any car maker make sleak, minimally designed cars?
Minial design is the big rage right now, but all cars are bulbos, plastic chrome, ugly as shit, huge fucking wrap around taillight designs with stupid angry faces, wanna be sharp angles. Everything is just so busy.
And no, I'm not talking about some Tata level minimal. Minimal as a premium.
The only car that comes close is the Tesla. Its simple, and kinda good quality, but it lacks in luxury. Yes, you can have minimal luxury.
So why are all modern cars so fucking ugly, and busy looking?
>>17738934
Minimal luxury? Like paying more for less?
>>17738934
Consider this: If you fuck up pic related somehow (one little bit of plastic gets scratched, a button comes off, something breaks, carpet tears or something) it isn't going to annoy you that much because you have the rest of the interior to distract you; one small part damaged in a vast sea of other parts. When there are only a few parts you can destroy, you'll feel much worse about damaging something. I feel like these interiors can't withstand wear that well, and they aren't going to age very nicely.

Sounds like Porsche to me.
Aussie going to Trump-ville for a holiday in October. What are some automotive attractions I should visit? Going to be in Vegas, Cali, NY, and DC.
Plan so far is to rent a Challenger off Turo and do Tioga Pass.
>>17738902
Sounds like you are going to all the shity tourist places enjoy crowds of Mexicans.
>>17738902
What part of cali?
why the fuck are you going to DC?
the only things to see there are faux-roman architecture, black people shooting each other, and city buses running over cyclists. oh yeah and weed couriers.
Hey /o/ I've been trying to figure this out for 2 months now
When my automatic overdrive transmission shifts from 2nd to 3rd it jerks forward like it's downshifting but only when shifting into 3rd
Transmission fluid is fine
Tires are balanced
Oil is fine
All the other gears shift fine
What is it /o/?
>>17738771

racing games for pc with big multiplayer base?
I am still playing dirt 3 to this day. the problem is that Codemasters took it out of Steam so it's a dying community and I already drove all tracks and gamemodes. a game that doesn't reward rammers would be neat
Forza is now on PC(win10).
>>17738651
you mean Motorsport or that other shit? I don't like Horizon
>>17738667
Forza Motorsport 6: Apex has been released and I think Motorsport 7 will be released on October 3rd.
Quick question on changing my oil on my civic. Pic related from the manual, does it mean I need to put 3.9 qts total in my car or the 4.8? Kinda confused which one to follow.
I am not certain, but I think 4.8 is to hit the top of the stick, and 3.9 is the optimum. Can be completely wrong though.
To be sure, throw 3.9 at first and see what the level is, then if needs be throw in a little more.
>>17738623
Yeah last time I bought a 5qt and kinda just eyed it with the dip stick level, which is hard as shit to read with new oil. I just wanted to follow this chart so I add the correct amount.
The total amount is for a dry engine, after a rebuild for example.
If you're just changing your oil and filter, go with one of the first two numbers, whatever applies to your car.
Still, check the dip stick afterwards.
Hi I'm the proud owner of a mercury tracer (the mercury of escorts) and have been soupingg it up while reviewing regular cars like regular car reviews guy, but in a shorter format. I can demo how to set the clock or beep the horn in a 04 Buick rendezvous cxl ultra too.

Anyone else discovered how absolutely comfy it is to just play old cassettes or listen to the radio in an old car while you drive around at night with the heater on?
Post other comfy feels.
>>17737908
Theirs nothing that gets me harder than ejecting a cassette, pulling it out, swapping it and jamming the bitch in their
Like holy fuck, the physical interaction, CD Fags don't know what their missing out on
> Also the feel of a real sturdy, high end cassette compared to budget ones
>>17737908
This is me in my Benz. Until I swap out the radio and speakers for something better. I'd do the speakers first though.
If it wasn't sort of rare and already rusty (so it gets worse way faster) I would totally daily and winter that car (300CE) it's so comfy.
>sitting in car with three pointed star about 5 feet in front of you, like being at the helm of a ship.
>burl wood dash trim with big fuzzy sheepskin seat covers, heater is literally top tier in that car
>being bundled up in leather jacket with big snow boots
>wish commute was like, three hours long instead of 20 minutes
>actually enjoy winter driving in my rwd boat
That is the only car that made me enjoy winter driving
God I need another 124 for dailying.

never
>americans still think trucks are superior
>>17737753
Given Trump is too chicken shit scared to even ban /K?ompensators' pointless AR15s the chance of banning something with an actual use is next to zero, especially when they put squares of his skin color on the side.
/o/ I'm having a bit of a crisis here. I've been trying to figure out what type of car I'll actually want when it comes time to start really looking for something to purchase. Lately I've been in love with the idea of getting a classical muscle project car, fixing it up and then turning it into something really impressive, while giving it a ratty look like pic related minus the fact that it looks like an expiring banana. Kinda like the V8 interceptor from mad max. I want to be able to muscle people down with the cars power, looks and sound.
However I'm having fears that whatever classical muscle I get I'm going to go wanting in some fields like handling, weight and shit like that. So is it possible to get something like a classical muscle and have it excel in every performance field, whether its acceleration, weight (within reason obviously, as long as the weight doesn't get in the way or holds me back), handling, grip and whatever else.
I know this sounds childish; "Me want big muscle, me want me stronger than everybody else, me want be big boi, smORC", but I have a cancerous inferiority complex and if there's somewhere I'm going to be beat especially after shoveling a lot of money into something I might just kms.
Is it possible for a classical muscle with however much work needed, be able to just fucking rape anything in any performance field until you get to actual super car shit, or should I just get a Modern mustang and soup that.
Help me /o/ I'm scared
>>17737667
Well, now most classic muscle cars in the states either have bent or broken frames, or are so far gone, its not worth fixing. If you have the choice, try buying from overseas, especially Australia. But, there are still some nice, ratty muscle cars over here, so I'd just look everywhere, and see if anything you love pops out.
>>17737667
cheaper to buy yourself a bungie cord thats 5m too long
>>17737697
But what about all the others stuff I mentioned? Is it realistic to expect that I'll be able to turn whatever I get into something that will not only rip down the expressway but to handle a corner like an EVO or an STI Would? And at the same speeds?
So, I have this jeep cherokee with 2.5 diesel italian engine and manual transmission. That engine has no belt or chain. The problem is with manual transmission. What automatic transmission is the easiest to swap, if its possible? Do i need new ECU for that? I drive mainly inside city with heavy traffic jams and sometimes go to lake etc. So manual trans is very uncomfortable for now
I googled my issue but it seems 2.5 diesel engines were sold only in europe. Europeans are not very friendly with sharing their swap stories.
Wikipedia that shit.
Find cherokee looks at available engines and trans look up just the trans offerd with your engine for other cars it came in.
Or look up you engine in different cars and see what trans they came with.
>not getting the inline 6 amc engine
thats where you messed up
