I have mitsubishi eclipse 2001 cabrio with broken tiptronic tranny my bother left me. According to internets that tranny was inputed into alot of korean cars hyundia etc. Engine is 3.0 fwd. Brother says there is no number plate at tranny since its not stock. I want to put stock tiptronic. Found on tranny encyclopedia that eclipse 3.0 fwd had F4A51 tranny. Can i put this tranny out of hyundai etc
Production year is 2001

Since the car is not in murrika its very difficult to find stock eclipse tranny. One garage posted an ad with eclipse 2001 tranny but they ask tranny number plate digits but as i wrote it has no number
What should i do?

new to /o/ and I'm a bit confused about Nissan cars

what's the difference between 180sx/240sx and the Silvia S13/14/15 range etc?

or were they just different names used in different countries?

s13, 14 15 etc are different generations of Silvias
the 240sx/180sx/200sx are an offshoot of the s13, the number depends on the displacement of the engine just like the Z cars
in Europe I think the S14 was also sold as a 200sx, because it had an SR20

I think I've found my little niche in cars and it's the z31. It has grown on me like a little cancerous mole that I want to live with for the rest of my life. It was really hated for breaking it's original z heritage but I think it's aged well and the styling and tech in it is very comforting and we'll executed. What do you guys think?

Owned an '88 turbo. Absolute fun and sleeper status since no one knows what the fuck it is. Would love to own a Shiro edition at some point in my life. Learned manual in it actually. Forgiving af. More so than the miata i got after.

dude is selling a 1990 ford f250 lariat v8 manual with 150k for 1700. outside looks pretty good just with cosmetic issues and inside looks clean. anything special I should know about this vintage in perticular? listing has no details other than "great project truck".

theres some shit wrong with it guaranteed every faggot on craigslist does this and it drives me crazy. its pretty cheap so just go check it out, bring a mechanically inclined friend. i made this mistake when i bought my mr2. it took me so long to get it running goof that i regretted not spending the extra money to get something i could actually drive home.

I've got an old car at 5.6k OTD from a franchise dealer. Can I haggle it down to 5k or are their profit margin too low on such an old car that they are firm with their prices.

If yes, how do I ask the salesman? I have this number and I can send a text. I'd love to get it for 5k but wont mind paying 5.25 or 5.3k.

What are Lincoln Mark VIIIs like to live with? I have a 2004 Mustang right now but I feel like a car with a comfier interior, IRS, and more power would be nice. The Mark VIII has all of that plus they're literally worth nothing on the used market.

Guy near me is a selling a 1997 LSC for $700. Needs less work than my Mustang did when I bought it and has fewer miles.

Thoughts? Anyone here actually owned one? I know about the air shocks and that's one of the things I like about it.

The air bladders and hoses are something to always look out for on Lincolns. I'm sure they aren't immune to electrical gremlins either.
