When i drive a car and when i have to turn somewhere i slow down and that light is blinking fast and when i speed up it's gone. Sometimes when i drive at 60 km/h 37mp/h it's on for 2 sec and it's gone. Can you guys somehow help me out ?
Your power steering is shitting the bed
First, check whether the handbrake switch for the light isn't shorting out when it doesn't need to.
Most probably it isn't that, so you should avoid any situation where you need to brake hard as this is the check brakes light and you might have numerous brake related problems.
Im looking at a 1993 ls400 with 130k zero rust and interior is beautiful.
It apparently had the timing chain done along with the water pump recently.
>They are asking 3k
i'm just wondering if there is anything I should look out for.

get a post-96 one for obd2
>>17867402
I would like obd2 but the earlier ones look much better in my opinion.
Leaking power steering pump, air suspension (if it has it) going tits up, burnt-out LCD segments (they all suffer from that, because >90s capacitors), broken backlights in the speedometer/tachometer needles, stuck speedometer/tachometer needles, and stancing/mawds/general niggotry.
Does mud bogging actually take "skill" to do?
Its takes more "familiarity with power" than skill

well looks like a another americuck vs yuropoor thread sage this thread
>>17867162
moreso it takes experience. Knowing what to do and when, how much throttle, when to stop and back up, when to hammer down and when to creep ect.
The better you are at driving and the more familiar you are with your rig the better you will do. Knowing what kind of mud you are dealing with will ultimately determine how you drive through it
How long until EVs get to the 400 mile range as most ICE cars have? I have a dream about driving an EV sports car through a mountain road blasting the Initial D soundtrack (no engine noise so I need something to fill the void). But I don't want the car to shit itself and die after about 50-70 miles.
first for kawaii ginetta
when we invent a whole different type of battery or can implement solar panels to at least increase range until then lithium just isn't gonna cut it
It's definitely coming. We're already at around 250-300 with that new Tesla that just came out. It may not sound like a big deal, but then again, consider what the EV market looked like five years ago. Maybe in another five years we'll get to 400.
Though DESU, most people on the road today would be fine with an EV even with less range, considering that the average commute isn't necessarily that far. The problem is that people are picky and usually look for excuses to get out of making a change. You'll get people like:
>my average commute a day is 15 miles
>this Leaf only does 100 miles on one charge? but what if I suddenly wanted to just get in the car and drive 500 miles on a whim, despite having my life and schedule structured in a way that would be virtually impossible for this to happen?
>guess I'll just have to make do with this fuck-huge SUV that gets 15 MPG
>gas will be cheap forever, right, guys?
If you could get even 10% of those people to switch to EVs, the market would be entirely different.
why can't I lease a g wagon in Canada
It is too scary for them.
Car looks like literal patriarchy
It's like they're made for each other.
Time to come out of the fucking closet, we all know it will happen.
2020.
Lots of companies will use that meme number year to over-dramatize changes.

Check the catalog before posting a new thread!
There is a thread about this. >>17861809
Right? And how long can a 1.6L v6 making 670hp last? Mbz trying to be konigsegg is a fail
>>17865499
Most supercars never pass 30k miles because the owners don't do it.
The swedcuck Regera will reach 0-200 in just 6.6 seconds.
Project One will reach 0-200 in sub 6 seconds.
I was making a left onto michigan ave. 2 lanes turning into two other lanes. There was a garbage truck next to me and I was on the left. We both turned and when I was turning I heard a distance metallic noise on my right hand side. There was also construction going on at the time. I did not feel a god damn thing. My mirror is fine and I checked my car and I had the same scratches as before. Would I be able to feel if I even lightly scraped the truck? Pic unrelated.
well if that was your shitbox you'd have felt it for sure
>>17865399
you would have to be pretty fucking oblivious to not know whether or not you hit something with your car. Are you black, numale, or a woman? If you answered 'yes' to any of those than you may very well have hit that garbage truck.
I'm driving a Lexus IS300 and I have been trying to fix an issue with my car, a while back I had hit a curve thanks to a mechanic that didn't care about finishing his job, my stabilizer arm had broken and my back right tire had been messed up, I had replaced the broken part, but now when the back right tire spins it makes a grinding like noise, it's really annoying, I think I have an idea what it might be, (I think it may be the spindle), but before I go out and buy the part I want to make sure that is what it is, (https://vocaroo.com/i/s18tIihiz6Tj) <---- that's the noise it is making... any clues to what it might be?
Careless self bump

I got trips plz help...
Is any car better than having no car and waiting for a specific car? I don't have a car but don't really want to waste my time with most of the cheap cars around me
Buy a $3k Civic and GTFO
>>17864901
Same here anon.
So a mate of mine is looking to buy a car and has asked me to come along for the test drive.
The car in question is a 2011 Focus, 1.6l 125hp engine, manual transmission. It's got almost 100k miles on the clock, timing belt was done ~6k ago.
What are the main things to look out for on these?
>>17864894
> 2011
> 100k miles
> Timing belt gone already
What the fuck. That's been ragged to shit and is probably dying.
I drive the same car, same engine, same year, but I have had no issues whatsoever with it from the 40k miles I bought it with right up to the 66666 miles I'm going to hit in the next week or so.
Check front tires and front brake disks/pads. I get a lot of front-end wear.
>>17865295
It's pretty obvious the current owner drove it a lot, but at least I guess he got the thing serviced on time.
We'll probably go check the thing out in the next week or so, thanks for the tip on front end stuff.
>manual
nothing to worry about other than cheap interior quality and the shitty Sync system. the engine is generally solid and the 5spd is fine, unlike the terrible 6 speed auto
