Going to buy this tomorrow.
How badly am I gonna regret it?
Hope you have your chastity belt already on when you sit in it.

Safelite franchises are good for commodity windshields.
Windshields are a commodity item unless it comes to those with electronics antennas or connector pads laminated onto them for the electronic rear view mirrors. They can do those too, but the special ordered part will be expensive.
Another thing to remember is that some cars have sound deadened glass (like my car) which reduces wind noise. That is more expensive to replace. Some windshields may also have an extra hard outside layer which resists sand blasting better. If you've ever had your car in the bright sun and noticed lots of super tiny sparkles (not from tree sap), those are from grains of sand making a very tiny superficial chip on soft normal cheap windshield glass. If your windshield has all 3 (electronics, sound dead, hard) then be ready for sticker shock.
Remember that unless you ask for it, you'll get the basic windshield glass replacement. It won't be sound deadened or have an extra hard outer laminate layer.
jfc do people never sell their subarus or smth?

the Eunos Cosmo was never made with a manual transmission, but it doesn't the Cosmo share the dubious reputation of the other automatic rotaries. Are Cosmos actually more reliable or is it because they simply weren't sold on the same scale as the RX-7/8? Discuss.

the OP should read:
>it doesn't share the dubious reputation of the other automatic rotaries.
please pardon my shitty proofreading

whattaya doin? you gotta hit the mirrors or the cagers will just buff out the scratches!
Anyone have any experience with plasti dip was thinking of painting my whole car with it using the spraycans
The spray cans are okay for smaller stuff like wheels and trim. You're better off with an actual compressor/paint gun to do a whole car, and it'll probably turn out like shit if you haven't done anything like that before.

Do it bro. Your mom is gonna love driving to work in that
Fellow fagg/o/ts, I need to change the control arm bearings on my 2009 CVPI. Is this something that someone with a little bit of mechanical experience can fix? Or am I better taking it to a mechanic?
Also, anyone know a good mechanic who won't Jew me over in or near Tempe, AZ?
Bushings not bearings. My bad.
Hey /o/ what do you think I should get for a shift knob? Recently got an 05 Hyundai accent and thought I'd give it a little cosmetic touch.

Kys
Alright, so whats the deal?
They import them with suspect legality and then you drop $15K for a car you cant use? And potentially have it seized by customs?
If it's at least 25 years old it's in the clear, you just have to jump through a hundred paperwork hoops unless you get a customs agent to take care of it.
>>17874466
all that 'Freeduhmz' and you get it seized FOB?
Were the early Lancer Evolutions really a lot better than the R32 like they made it out to be?
They were more attainable, less expensive and easier to work on than a GTR in Japan.
In terms of actual performance? I doubt it, but it's a lot more plausible that a lot of guys own lancers to make a club than they did GTRs when those were brand new
On tight mountain switchbacks yeah. The gtr was long and nose heavy ya know.
My only experience with cars is initial D
Do I "borrow" my moms car and try it out

Are you learning to drive or are you trying to go full takumi???
>>17873946

the little rubber thing in the metal hosing its been very slowly leaking oil on of the radiator house but doing no damage just messy to fix it will i have to get a whole new hose? thanks /o/
>>17873932
i don't know. crankcase vent maybe
would like to know if anyone here knows about car binning.
What I'm looking for is a door for is a chevy cobalt it needs to be a automatic door but I happen to run into a person that has a manual door. The damaged door is only effected on the outside a few scratches.
What I would like to know is if the doors are binned to work with both manual and automatic so the only thing that they do at the assembly plant is mount the parts for the automatic on it and slap on the automatic inside panel rather than the manual and vise versa
hey /o/ my diesel ford just shit the bad and im in a rush to find a new truck asap. i was at a dealership today and was looking at a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 4x4 do you guys have any opinion on this model?
>>17873585
>ford
I hope you learned your lesson. My first Sierra was a 1999 rand to 223k nearly flawlessly, and now I have a 2012 2500 that's going good too, so I don't see why this one wouldn't.
wat ford
and those sierras are super nice
maybe a little too nice to actually do truck stuff without feeling bad.
>>17873585
>my truck shit the bed
so fix it? why spend 30k on a new truck just so you don't have to spend some other small amount to fix your existing one.
