I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR....
Found one of these near me and they want $2,500 for it, has 135k on the odometer and no shots of the undercarriage but the rest of the car looks clean
What do you think /o/
>>17856354
could be a nice car, things will break and get expensive. do not rely on it being your only car
>>17856354
That's kinda steep for an old DSM. Is it a base model? What engine?
>>17856354
>belt driven camshafts
>chain driven camshafts
>gear driven camshafts
Why not shaft driven camshafts? It has all the benefits of gear driven camshafts but with less complexity
shaft is still derived from gear driven, and it exists.
>>17856341
if only all gear driven engines were like this

ducati tried it in the 70's, saw 1 in person a few years ago. the guy put a glass cover on it so you could see the gears spinning.
So as the title asks, is there really a limit for your average 4 cylinder economy car or as long as it shows signs of being taken care of is a good enough justification for purchase?
>>17856275
As long as it shows that it was taken care of
Miles matter based on how much the car was maintained.
A car with 300k miles with a routine check up and fluids checked and changed when needed, will last longer tenfold than a car with 50k miles with zero maintenance.

So I am looking into buying a new car (not like BRAND new, but new to me). I live in the mid-west so winters can be brutal so i would like something that can get through yearly. I also commute to school and work everyday, and occasionally take trips, so something that is pretty good on gas would be good. Should I look into small SUVs or cross-overs as well? i really am at a loss, any advice on models, brands etc would be super helpful! (budget is 15,000..if i could spend more i totally would)
BMW 335i 08-12 with ~60k miles. Make sure the water pump was replaced. Youre welcome
>>17858421
335xi, all wheel drive will make that car feel rock solid even on snowy days
>>17858421
or if he wants a little more fuel economy he good for a 25i or 28i
I really like this car.
However, I noticed the $145k car is down to selling for $80k with only 15k miles.
While this is nice because I can afford this car i the next two years or so, I'm concerned.
1. Why did it depreciate so fast?
a. Tesla faggots were intimidated by a sport focused interior
b. it sucks and bmw fags hate it
I'm a BMW fag so I'm concerned.
ALso, those skinny fucking tires. Can you put real tires on? I'd be tracking this thing a couple times a year and those tires look like a joke.
Give your thoughts and experiences on this car. Should I just get a Cayman S instead?
It's an unreliable engineering mess.
>>17856180
It's not a sports car. It's just the flagship of the i range for impressing your frenemies and fags at the country club. It's just a status symbol. Cayman gts is better in every way and you can get a decent one for 40-50k
If you put tires with more rolling resistance, you kill MPG.
I want to fill in the cracks between my bumper and the metal car body, but I'm a lazy fuck who would rather not repaint the car. I know it's a longshot, but does a bog (or anything) exist that dries white and at least somewhat matches the glossy shine of a freshly polished shitbox?
What car is most like a birb

Ausfag here with an ef model falcon and a very ugly steering wheel. What are my options?
I've been googling different things for over a half hour and I really want to install a nice chink wheel with a boss kit, but then I would have NO FUCKING AIRBAGS. If a boss kit exists with airbags then I'd love to know about it. No airbags is not an option.
I've tried to find an aftermarket wheel that is made for my ford with no results. This would be the best option.
If only I could weld a wheel together that's the same as stock except with leather and shit.
Anyone got any ideas? This steering wheel is a serious eyesore.
either take one from a newer falc or deal with having no airbags or an ugly wheel
bump because that game was the shit
Is that a moped car?
>>17854054
It's a corral reef at this point
That there is a Casalini Sulky, which is indeed a moped car
Took me a while to recognize it, been years since I've seen one
This person can go out tomorrow and get both; Ferrari and a Mercedes. But he knows none of those cars will hold a candle to his GTR R34!
Would he be driving a Nissan GTR by now?

Stop buying Koenigseggs

>Stop buying Koenigseggs
Aw, damn. Hold on, lemme call the dealer...
Obviously no one here can afford one. But why shouldnt we if we could?
Been looking for a cheap shitbox for a while, spotted a lower mileage protege for $600 that needs some tires and front rotors.
Anyone have experience with them?

>>17853664
Watch out for rust, they tend to get out bad because thin paint and no rustproofing.
Make sure the timing belt has been changed too.
Other than that it should be an alright little shitbox.
t. Owned a BJ 323 for a bit over a year so far
Im currently DDing a 94 Protege. Runs perfectly fine and I got it for $300. Only thing I've done are brakes, tires and oil pan gasket. Other than that its been a good little shitbox.
