What kind of air fresheners do patricians use? Surely they wouldn't use something like little trees or Glade in their Maserati.
It's a JDM meme, but it's the only air freshener scent that's more than just tolerable. Lasts for fucking no time at all though and costs a ton. Fuck it. Cigarette scent is better.
>>17812994
they pay someone to detail there car every other week and don't get any smells.
>>17812994
usually they don't. leather doesn't hold in gross smells like plebian materials such as cloth.
The cars are amazing, unique and beautiful in so many ways. That Rotary Engine life starts to wear on you pretty quickly though. Pre-Mixing your gas, moving your car 10ft to mow the lawn takes 20mins with the warm-up needed before shutting it down, randomly occuring Rotor seizings for seemingly no reason at all which require 5-7 days of no use with ATF Fluid down the Spark Plug holes soaking the seals to break them free.
And OH MY GOD... the HEAT they generate.
I'm all for OEM JDM Car preservation, but if a Turbo Rotary RX owner engines being able to reliably drive his/her car with out having to constantly worry about Fuel/Oil mixture ratios, operating temperatures, and the HORRIBLE MPGs!!!
If it's within your means and you've decided that rotary life is a pain, swap out that Rotary... we understand and sympathize. Plus it gives the Rotary purists another 13B Swap pulled and available for purchase.
sauce btw

>premixing is a pain
>probably doesn't even know this used to be more common, too
what a baby
>>17813060
No shit, dumbass. I don't like rotaries but they're obviously not for people who care about miles per gallon, they're just meant to be fast, and you can only do that by sacrificing some basic shit.
>inb4 LS1 swap
>inb4 "rotary won le mans"
You're a dumbass, OP, get a real opinion and stop copying others from speedhunters, fucking chameleon.
How much have you guys spent on wheels and tires?
My wheels were $350 each (19x8 TSW Mirabeau) with $270 each toyo proxes tires. They were free for me.
On my Civic, around $850 for Enkei TS-10s. Around $600 for Hankooks.
On my Corvette I'm fucked. Any wheels worth a damn are like $1700+. Tires are the same. OEM 4 LYFE BRUV
I just bought these for $120 CAD to put on my shitbox i've been working on.
Old compact 4x4 truck. Im in the market for one. Im going to have about $3000 to spend. Im particularly interested to know peoples opinions on lesser talked about models, such as the Mitsubishi Mighty Max, and Mazda B3000.
Ideally Id get an older Toyota, but they tend to be a bit more than $3000. Nissans look nice, only thing that bothers me there is that the suspension needs to be removed to change the clutch. Any similar complaints for the Mitsubishi or Mazdas? Any other models to look for?
There is an anon on here that owns a 1961 Porsche 356 >>17805663
and I'm calling him out in this thread to make sure he see's this article
http://www.speedhunters.com/2017/09/porsche-hot-rodder-rod-emory-story/
>>17812876
he's posted here before about it
he got it from his grandfather and made a thread asking how much he could get for it because he didnt want it
he's dumb
>>17813137
It runs and has no rust, but there's a lot wrong with it. My grandpa was a Jew and never fixed it right, always took it to a shitty VW guy. There's cracking Bondo on the front right, and I think the front end is uneven. The shifter bushings are fucked so it's sloppy and vibrates. Burns a quart in 100 miles. Throwout bearing squeals. It's falling apart , and I can't afford to buy basic parts because they are very expensive, make it nice or take it to the fancy guys in OP's post, so it just sits in my garage and I don't drive it because something is going to go wrong. I haven't really been looking to sell it, but honestly should so some rich guy can restore it.
Which one of you faggots did this?
wew he is literally one of us

Definitely Reddit.
Between the current gen Mustang and Camaro, which do you think has the potential to make the nicest sound? What would been needed to achieve this? What is your evidence or proof?
Feel free to throw in any modern, reasonably attainable car into the mix.
>Which reasonably attainable car do you think has the potential to make the nicest sound?
>mustang and camaro
lol, no.

Explain yourself.
What do you think about this fender dent on the side of this Integra /o/, is it too bad that it's not worth checking the car out or....???
>>17812794
Looks like its just paint damage and at worst a tiny fender dent. Easily fixable.
>>17812794
If theres much more misaligned panels, just walk away
Looks like minor cosmetic damage at best
I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 140,000 miles. The engine runs great but the problem I'm having is that it overheats. It's not leaking and it has plenty of coolant. I've replaced the water pump and coolant temperature sensor and it's still running hot. Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas or suggestions? I really don't want the engine to get damaged.
What could be causing it?
How hot is it getting exactly? Like the vehicles losing power or what? And are the fans kicking on
>>17813011
It takes like 20 minutes after startup but then it overheats and the temperature gage goes all the way to the end. I turn it off after the warning light comes on to prevent engine damage.

Is leasing a DD better than buying?
>Lease current year DD for work
>Own weekend car(s) for fun
Seems like the better option and you always have something new to drive on your commute
>>17812759
>Is leasing a DD better than buying?
depends on your financial situation.
We don't need this thread again Nibba.
>>17812759
no. buying a decent 10k dd makes the most sense. then spend all your money on your other cars.
Leasing is just renting. Makes no financial sense.
Hey guys, I can't find any information on the Internet about this vehicle so I figured I'd ask here. Looking at buying a 1988 Buick Regal "nighthawk edition." Any information on the vehicle in general would be awesome. Pic related
>>17812708
Why the fuck would you want to buy an American car from this era?
If you want a W Body Regal go into the 90s with the 3.8 V6 and not those early ones with the 2.8. They also look better too. You don't want a landau top anon....
>>17812727
lol this 100x over
literally the worst made cars, basically on par with 90's/early 2000's Hyundais in terms of build quality
What's the deal with people saying headers reduce power because of back pressure? Is it some bs myth?
Also
I'm doing some exhaust work on my truck (305sbc)
>inb4 get a 350
I'm running open long tube headers for a few weeks probably, what should i expect?
I'm assuming a shitty and extremely loud ear deafening sound to be emitted from the underside of my truck
>>17812691
Exhaust restriction lowers the scavenging RPM on the exhaust, shifting the torque curve.
It's really a tiny difference at the lower end, while it improves flow rate at the higher end improving torque, so improving HP.
Anyone who is talking about keeping a restrictive exhaust because they want low end torque is a fucking retard.
You need a tune to go with headers or else there are no gains anyway
*OPEN headers, btw.
Whats the best radar detector out right now? Im tired of getting speeding tickets.
Pro tip: they've been using lasers for decades and a detector isn't going to do dick and anything that messes with their current systems are so illegal you'd rather pay for a mountain of speeding tickets instead.
>>17812661
1. dont speed on the public road
2. learn how to properly drive fast on a track as its more fun/safe and less expensive in the long run.
3. if you don't listen to 2. and 3. then see 4.
4. kill yourself.
>>17812661
Don't speed.
Gee that was easy.
Sip /o/
Niggers stole this little grill of my first gen Audi TT
Anybody know what's it called or what the part number is or where the fuck I can buy it from?
