Has anyone heard of CRISPR? Just the newest breakthrough in genetic engineering. Apparently can edit genes in live organisms (including humans). Who knows, might even be able to remove that pesky Y chromosome and add in another X. When will this become the new treatment for trans people?

Was anyone else a raging Homophobe before coming out? I was the biggest of my friend group, called friends gay when they showed any hints of femininity etc. Meanwhile, practically every night at home I'm up while everyone is asleep crossdressing and shoving things into my ass.

One friend in particular would get on my nerves throughout MS/HS and I would berate him for looking girly or beat him up if he was being annoying. We've remained friends to this day, and he actually was the most accepting one of my friends when I came out as trans. He has told me that the bullying I did fucked him up mentally (it's been 10+ years since). Regardless, he's now my best friend and I feel absolutely terrible for the hypocrite that I was growing up. We've talked in lengths about this subject while drunk, but I'm wondering if there are things one can do to make amends in these types of situations. Any thoughts? Hypocrite general I guess.
