I really don't wear camo after moving back to the subs but I'll always been partial to the VZ95 pattern

Visiting girlfriend's aunt and uncle for the weekend. They've known me for a year now and know that my gf and I are both concealed carriers. They dont like guns but respect the fact that my gf and I do and vice versa. Last night we all went out for dinner and on the drive back the topic of guns came up. It was just a casual discussion and her aunt asked if I had been carrying that night.
I said that I was and she started asking me all these hypotheticals about if I thought someone should tell someone they are carrying when they ride with them or come to their house. I told her that is subjective but personally I didn't think they should because the law doesn't require it here and it would defeat the purpose of concealed carry. She then flipped the fuck out on me saying how disrespectful that was, etc. When I tried to clarify my view she jumped all over me for being rude and trying to argue with her and then started acting like I was dangerous and unhinged. Mind you, i never once raised my voice and the only reason I continued to talk about the issue is because she started hounding me with questions. I wound up leaving the room once we got back to their house and have been walking on eggshells since then.
Anyone else ever dealt with this kind of irrational shit? Clearly, if I knew someone had an issue with guns in their home then I wouldn't carry one there. The issue here was that my gf and I have both told them in the past that we carry "everywhere" and they seemed fine with that and never once expressed such a strong dislike for them. So for her aunt to make a complete 180 was baffling.

>tl;dr gf's aunt flipped the fuck out on me for carrying a gun while we were out in the city for dinner
Idk what it is with anti-gun people being so loud and angry about funs. Nobody had this issue 50 years ago, I just don't understand why liberals are against all things fun
You're an officer of whatever at-war country during WWI, and you need to buy your own handgun for service. Because your commander's a lazy fuck, it can be any handgun from any country.

Just finished my Vietnam collection, no on to Roman military.
Matterhorn, Chickenhawk, Praying for Slack, Guts n' Gunships, The Centurions, The Things They Carried, The Long Grey Line, and a few others. Most of them were pretty good, I enjoyed Praying for Slack the most because tanks.
i love this book, the over the top ness of how America is so much better than the soviets, the russians crying when they watched ET. its all great

Looking for a .357/.38 wheelgun. Also, revolver general.
I went to my local range today and rented 4 different wheel guns, with a box of .38spl through each.
S&W 19 4inch - This was my favorite in terms of size, weight, balance, and accuracy. It fit in my hand very well, and I wear medium-size gloves. But it was in pretty rough shape with lots of scratches and dings, and the trigger was gritty like it hadn't been polished or cleaned in a while.
S&W 686 3inch - This didn't feel much bigger or heavier than the model 19, probably because of the shorter barrel. Trigger pull was nicer, probably because it was newer, but groupings were much larger than the 19, also probably because of the shorter barrel. I was not super impressed with the 686.
S&W 60 3inch Performance Center - Very accurate shooter, but too small and light. First time I felt .38 spl recoil to be slightly uncomfortable, can't imagine .357 being any fun at all. If I gripped it too high, the cylinder release button would stab my hand during recoil. Very minor autistic thing - it was nice to have a 5 round cylinder, since I could fill it fully 10 times with a 50 round box of ammo.
Ruger GP100 4.2inch - People knock Ruger's for having meh triggers, but I thought the trigger was exceptionally smooth, no worse than the S&W 686, but definitely a little heavier pull. Phenomenally accurate too. But a little too big and heavy for my taste.
I wish I could have tried the Ruger SP101, as it might be the perfect size and weight, but alas my range did not have one to try. I am currently considering the Ruger 66-8 (pic related), maybe in 2.75", but I did shoot the 4.2" revolvers far more accurately.
Anyone have a new Taurus M85? I see you can get them for $209, plus a $40 rebate. Need a carry gun
>poorfag that likes revolvers
>>35044181
heres what will happen it will break immediately if unlucky or will break after a fairly low round count compared to alternative guns. this is fine though since the average taurus buyer cant afford enough ammo to wreck the gun.
wrecked tarus happens when a real shooter buys one and attempts to use it.

Ruger puts fuck heavy springs in their guns. I put an 8# trigger return spring and a #12 hammer spring, did a little polishing and shimmed the hammer and it's fucking choice now. you can look up trigger job videos on youtube. Doesn't matter if it's for a gp100 or an sp101 as they have the same action.
