The range bag I got from the NRA for shit itself. Frankly I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.
Anyway, I need a new range bag now. What do you /k/ommandos haul your gear around in?
I usually bring a lot to the range and this new bag will need plenty of space for handguns, magazines and ammo. Bonus points if it is some sort of military surplus bag, but not at all required.

I just take my stuff to the range in plastic Kroger bags there's no reason to spend money on some overpriced big black tactical made in China range bag.
i use a duffle bag i got for free. needs organization though. i always have to dig through tons of shit to get to stuff on the bottom

This guy has a good point. I use my old jansport backpack. Works well enough.
You really shouldn't by overpriced guns.
What happens is that you either turn into an over-exaggerating fanboi douchenozzle sucking the dick of some brand out of pure ego-defense for laying out so much more money for so little an increase in quality/performance, or you turn into a Gunnanny, pampering and preening your precious expenditure like it's made out of fine china.
$800 is the most you should ever spend on a rifle, shotgun, or handgun. Above that price point is the realm of faggotry and diminishing returns.
You don't want to end up like the guy on the left here.

I actually think chatting with the Alphabets would be kind of interesting.
Looking to get a decent holster for comp/dicking around on the range, what are /k/'s preferred brands? My old man told me about SafariLand, so I'm looking at the 576 GLS model.
Handgun is a CZ P-09, if it matters
>>33591246
2aholsters.com. Low prices. Quick delivery.
Alessi, Desantis, Raven Concealment are all good too.
>>33591246
Uncle Mike's is what you want to get.
>>33591246
What kind of competitions? Bladetech is a good entry level brand for just getting started and generally won't hold you back.
War were declared, you joined up, that was years ago and it looks like it might be years before it ends so you stopped giving a fuck about the small things.
How do you decorate your helmet /k/?

gas, from the black beans that were on my lunch burrito.
So my newly bought Ruger Lcp has been having some issues.
20% of the time it won't chamber a round unless I ride the slide. Even when doing that, it pushed my .380 ball ammo deep into the brass. Way beyond acceptable levels. I've tried researching this problem and people just say it's to be expected of a pocket pistol. I don't find this acceptable at all for a pistol I trust my life to.
Is it the ammo? There are no indentations like most 9mm and 45 ammo have to keep the bullet in place. Should I try to get it fixed? Ruger doesn't have a good track record for customer service and it seems like this is a "non" problem in their eyes. Does anyone have any experience with this?
So your gun isn't working and you haven't tried anything to solve it?
Switch your ammo first. Then stop riding the slide.
I'd also first check your ammo. My cousin has a Ruger LCP that has never failed to chamber a round, and my wife has a S&W Bodyguard that has also never failed to chamber a round.
>>33590844
How hard is 'ride the slide forward'? Regardless, I wouldn't think that would be enough to set back a bullet. What ammo?
2nd vote for try another ammo and call Ruger if it does it to both.
>By August 2016, Russia was finalizing the trials of the Kh-32 cruise missile, a derivative of the Kh-22. Designed for use by the Tu-22M3 bomber, the missile is designed to climb to 40 km (130,000 ft) to the stratosphere after launch, transition to level flight, then perform a steep dive to the target; its combination of speed and flight path makes it virtually invulnerable to interception by ground-based air defenses and fighters. The advanced cruise missile is designed to target enemy ships, radars, and "radio-contrast targets" like bridges, military bases, electric power plants, and others. The Kh-32 has an inertial navigation system and radar homing head, making it independent of GPS/GLONASS navigation satellites. Presumably, it has a range of 1,000 km (620 mi; 540 nmi) and a speed of at least 5,000 km/h (3,100 mph; Mach 4.1)
>Zircon or 3M22 Tsirkon is a missile being developed by the Russian military. It is capable of reaching hypersonic speeds in the range between 3,800mph and 4,600mph. The missile could be operational by 2018, fitted to Kirov class warships, strategic bombers and submarines.[1] It is currently undergoing testing from land-based launch points
Russia will have two types of super fast ASMs deployed in just a few years that are virtually unstoppable. How can the US Navy even compete?

And yet they still remain irrelevant.
>>33590851
>irrelevant
They're winning the war in Syria for Assad, killing thousands of dirty muslim sandniggers.
I'd say that makes them pretty relevant.
>>33590891
>we are relevant because we can beat up other irrelevant countries
topjej, if they were truly relevant we wouldn't have legions of butthurt vatniks crying daily about how they are trying to catch up to America.
I'm in the market for a new gun. Intended use is fun at the range.
I want a 1911 since I don't have one. I also want a special snowflake cartridge because why not? If it's not for defensive use it's not a big deal.
Thinking about pic related. Wish it had Heine Straight 8 sights but no big deal since it's just for range use.
Thoughts?
>>33590772
This is the 1911 I'm going to buy soon.

>>33590772
have shot a 38 super 1911, found it thouroughly enjoyable and quite accurate
>>33590772
So now that AMT has pretty much shut down High Standard, is Rock Island the only new 38 super available? How easy is it to convert a 9mm 1911 to 38 super? Just mags and barrel?
Assuming boats could move on land as though it were water, which one would win in a to-the-death skirmish, the US navy, the US airforce, or the US land army. (I forgot the word for this, sorry)

No

There is no word for that.
It's called the U.S. Army
>>33590760
Oh okay, thanks.
hey /k/ which surplus 7.62x39 ak mag are the best?
>>33590635
East germans have the best fit and finish in my opinion. Bulgarian circle 10s are the best non-steel mags (with soviet bakelite a close second)
just a few
>>33590635
China because it doesn't have annoying piece of extra sheet metal on the backside of it. Very clean looking
I'd like to give my cat a fighting chance in the outdoors when she grows up. I found LARP battle armor but it's super expensive and a Dune reference, which I've never read. I need a way to make her claws longer, at least. A gauntlet or something. I'm not a /k/ local, just a passerby.
Pickelhaube. Barring that, shoulder blades.

are you a inbred, or do you like to throw your money at useless shit, or both?
Just think about it, right now you either own a shitty rifle designed by an illiterate commie in buttfuckistan siberia (the AK, or should i rather call it the pot metal rifle), Or an other tacticoolized garbage that was made by some bored dumbfuck in the vietnam era using scissors and a trash can (which is the AR, you inbred hick)
>>33590422
The bullpup is a dead dream from the vietnam era though
It's not our fault you threw away your money on a plastic Jewgun OP. You can still sell it off to another gullible goy.
