Just bought one for $400. I personally don't like them at all but since it's a TGI on the original FEG receiver I couldn't pass up the deal.
Anyone wanna give me the pros on this particular firearm? Any recommendations on how I should put an optic on this thing (no rail)? General opinions?
*Pic isn't the actual firearm I purchased.
I like mine just fine, the one I got could have had a better barrel. That and the aesthetics are probably the biggest complaints. There is a slight issue in putting 30 round magazines in but if you practice it isn't hard.
I used a Master Mount to put a rail on it, then mounted optics like normal.

I think you are lost. Back to plebbitt

And you bought it? I guess it'll be a safe queen the second you own something you like better, assuming you don't already. But it'll be a neat addition to the collection regardless.
>Any recommendations on how I should put an optic on this thing
With that gun, it is what it is, and you're wasting your time.
It'd be especially dumb to invest more money one a gun you don't even like. And have fun trying to use an optic with a wire folder stock. You should have just bought a gun you did like for a few hundred more if you are seriously considering investing cash into your AMD65 now.
I hate to sound like a weeaboo, but the Spartans were not a real warrior culture. They were literally a bunch of slaves and faggots. The real warrior culture was the Japs. The "300" Spartans were actually several thousand strong. It was the Samurai rebellion where 300 men fought against a much larger force.

>>33695272
The Spartans had other Greeks with them. Spartan men also had about 3-4 servants who carried their gear, something similar to a squire who served a Knight in England.
The battle of thermopally was a more impressive display of their military prowess. Anyways you do come off as a weebu because your typical Spartan would fuck any tiny cocked jap up.
The Japs sure did have there share of epic battles I remember visiting Osaka castle and being amazed at the history and fortifications.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Thermopylae
Yeah but all of 350 japs got killed while killing only 30.
Makes 11,6666666667 Satsuma Samurai to 1 Samurai of the Imperial Army..
While the Greeks killed 20000 and lost 4000.
Makes 5 Persians for 1 Greek.
How effective is the use of tanks as an hoc artillery? That is, raising their gun barrels and firing HE at static enemy positions and infantry via indirect fire, instead of direct fire.
During WW2 it was part of Soviet and the Allied tactics, they would use tanks to join in artillery barrages, sometimes even digging in tanks and covering them in camo specifically to use them like SPG's.
We've seen in it more recent wars too like the Bosian wars or the Iran-Iraq wars as well.
bumping for interest.
Philippinos used their Shermans as mortars during the Battle at Yuldong in the Korean war.
>>33694949
I feel the Americans still used their Pattons and Sherman variants in the artillery role in Korea too, it following directly after ww2
Barry Snickers is upset I didn't want to attend his book signing.
That guy has done more physical exercise in a year while serving in Delta than you will ever hope to do in your pathetic life. Calling him "Snickers" only makes you look like an ass
>B-B-B-BUT HE WUZ DELTA!!11
>NO EXCUSE PATTY MAC IS FIT!!1
You're most likely 18 and while you're shitposting on 4chan and unironically have a facebook account, he was actually in the Army.
Stay mad kid
This on is for air rifles, from 7.5J 10m precision rifles and plinkers, through competition rifles, to big bore FAC rifles that can drop a bear.
Got a question about air rifles, or just want to share? Shoot.

Are there any sub 100 dollar pelletguns in pistol form but more powerful? Need it to be stronger for pest control but prefer the pistol size. Its fine if its a singleshot or springer

You've been tasked with finding and killing a man with a stolen suitcase full of money. The suitcase has a transponder in it with which you may track him, although after your first encounter if you do not kill him he will remove it.
What weapons would you use for the task? Captive bolt gun is provided of course.
>>33690727
Go to a pawnshop and pick up a durr rifle for cheap. Sit on a hill. Shoot him. Grab suitcase and 360 outta there.
I have a few different answered.
Who is providing the gun?
Are there any limitations for what gun I could use?
What are the conditions I have to kill the man under?
What kind of environment?
Gib us more info.

Do you believe you could have effectively neutralized and/or escaped the Facebook murderer threat with you EDC?
Facts:
>Easter Sunday
>You are returning from a market/store to your home
>You are carrying your EDC
>A 6'1 244lb (110kg) black male approaches you talking nonsense
>He pulls out a glock chambered in .45

sure
>>33690653
EDC, training, your opinion?
>>33690637
I'm not sure how much of a viable tactic this is-
But when youre against a guy with a definite intent to murder you and he already has his gun out
You're pretty much fucked
Although with the odds stacked against you, I think the best approach would be to dive under the gun and tackle him
Or you could pull some sort of matrix move and draw while diving to the side and then shoot him when you hit the ground
Have we ever had anyone on /k/ that is confirmed Tier 1 special forces?

SRR too.
What would happen if a person were hit by an APFSDS round? Would it punch a cartoonish hole through them, or turn them into a fine mist?
It would be extremely painful
>>33689310
It would just zip through them.
I imagine it would turn the corpse inside-out and send the weightier chunks spinning off in all directions.
What is a good full size 9mm pistol that suppresses well? It also must be able to shoot cast lead reloads, so no glocks. I was thinking the FN pistols, but those are a bit expensive for the tactical version with the threaded barrel. I probably won't be shooting the cast lead bullets through the suppressor in case the lead dirties the shit out of it, but I still want the option for cheap plinking.
>>33689208

You dun goofed

I didn't make the picture.

Something chambered in .45
The firepower in this picture alone is enough to destroy the entire Royal Navy
>>33688197
Yeah, and a small missile boat can destroy all of those under the right circumstances.

Should I be worried?
>>33688159
I don't see a crack. "Staking" involves deforming a small amount of metal toward the surface and has nothing to do with the structural integrity of the underlying metal that wasn't deformed.
>Should I be worried
No
>Should you send it back?
I know I would
Is this real or am I getting rused? That's called staking.
No /k/ webm thread? Pfff.
