I request that you don't use a helicopter mounted GAU-8, and any kind of long range explosive will be frowned upon because it will attract a lot of attention, but guns are guns. I guess a mounted gun is fine but you have to find a way to mount it, and driving around in an ATV won't be good.

He needs to die and you need to get the briefcase. Optionally you can flip a coin on whether or not to spare him but since Llewelyn was clever it's not likely you'll get the opportunity to deliberate.

He's on the move, staying at motels mostly. If left long enough he'll take some planes. All the way he will be spending the money so while swiftness is not key it is a bonus.

If left even longer I guess he'll buy a house and live the rest of his days in luxury.

He has a point. If you miss your first shot you're unlikely to get a second one, especially since Llewellyn escapes from a long range shootout after becoming unarmed.
That being said, Chigurh always does best with surprise and it's really a solid plan. Cheap too. Every other plan will carry the risk of you missing or slipping on a banana peel or whatever so this doesn't really stand out.
