I heard you guys are pretty good with simple, easy to cook yet healthy and filling meals. I'm a vagabond, and I need inspiration for such meals that can be cooked in a simple pot over a wood fire from ingredients I can get pretty much anywhere and lug around for a few days in a warm backpack with no issues. I might be able to add fish if I catch any, pic related.

Any recommendations? Also, cooking thread.

Everyone says wrestlers are the toughest, meanest guys around. So, how do they actually train? Anyone ever been to wrestling in HS or college?

Long warm up (up to 40 minutes) including running, sprinting, acrobatics, wrestler's basketball/football/rugby, bodyweight exrecises, exercises with partner (carrying and similar stuff), then light stretching, then neck bridges, then technique, then sparring for task or free sparring, then conditioning (abs, push ups, dips, rope climbing, pull ups, kettlebells).

LOTS of cardio and body weight exercises. Indian runs to warm up, jump rope, then in the room you have push up, sit ups, walking on your hands, bear crawls, then you'd stretch. Neck bridges and all that good shit. Then the actual practice would start, where you'd drill moves, a lot of them being physically demanding like the fireman. Then you'd be paired up and practice what you learned in a sparring match. After you're good and tired, then you'd do HIIT. Then the coach turns up the heat and you'd do sprints.

I was in such ridiculously good shape that I wrestled and played club hockey. After wrestling practice I'd shower, then by the time I got to the rink I'd be fully recovered and played 3 periods of hockey.

I am the only cook for my family and i want to get us all eating healthier. My son is a really picky eater though. Do any of you have any good recipes that i can hide veggies and stuff in?

Also i dont know anything about macros or portion sizes. Ive begun working out again but i really want to eat healthy too. Do any of you know of any goid online resources for diet/recipes/ anything fitness related. I would definitely appreciate it.

It must be stressed that these xenoestrogens are not just present in plastic, they can be found in anything from water bottles, shoes, frying pans, cleaning products, grooming products, food, drink, containers etc.

I'm planning on enlisting in the Marines. I'm no where near fit enough to even handle boot camp. I'm six foot one inch in height and skinny as hell.

How the hell do I gain anything to make into muscle? I know I'm just not eating enough, but even when I get incredibly full on food, I never gain any real pounds to even begin working out into muscle. What's the point in working out if there's nothing there to refine anyways?

Do I just eat until I'm full and then eat more? Further more, what are some good workouts to prepare for boot camp?

So I herniated my l5s1 disc from jumping weight to fast on ss. Doc told me i cant squat or dead anymore. Do any of you have a herniated disc and still continued to squat and dead without back pain or sciatica?Also if youve healed the disc, what have you done?

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to get of this hell? I find it strange we don't have more skinny fat threads it is the worst starting position in your fitness journey. Due to all the contradicting advice out we need a thread where we discuss this issue head on. Has anyone made it out of this hell before? Please post before and after pics if you can or just tell us your routines and diets.

There is way too much contradicting advice out there like

Low reps vs high volume
cut or bulk etc.
carbs or no carbs

Lets clear this up once and for all

Alright /fit/ drop some knowledge on me about long-term ketogenic water fasting.

If prepared for, executed and recovered from properly; Is water fasting a viable practice? Or is it just another meme clense?

I for one recommend mandatory water fasting for all land-whales >40%BF. Sleep for 3 weeks and watch your body-fat melt.

What I do is just a quick morning routine if I'm feeling small.

>3x8 dips
>3xF chin ups
>1xF crunches
This usually gets me a good pump and usually just take 10 minutes.

Just start with hex/trap bar if it's that intimidating. Get gradually used to the motion and transition to conventional or sumo if that's what you want. As long as you keep skirting them you'll be missing out on a compound movement that really does a lot for you in terms of efficiency and growth.

Otherwise have fun setting aside time to do some meme forearm workouts to not look all fucking stupid with imbalanced arms.
