I don't even drink soda for the sugar, I just think cold carbonated water is highly refreshing. However, pure carbonated water with no flavor or sweeteners just tastes salty. And I really dislike the aftertaste of diet sodas.
Does anyone know of any low sugar brands of soda that's not sweetened with stevia or any other sweeteners?

Why do people ask for their milk shakes thick? I'm a Johnny Rockets FDR, most days I spend at least 6 hours making people's shakes, and I live in a very touristy area that attracts visitors from all over.
Like one out of ten people ask for their shakes thick, and at least one person every day makes a big deal out of it, "Make it extra extra super ultra thick!". Today this Australian guy came in and asked for "A thick ass shake!" and his server even wrote that down on the ticket. These are kind of annoying because I generally don't add milk and add extra ice cream to make up the volume and they're very hard to blend, but whatever, I like making people happy.
BUT WHHHHY? If you like it thick, then walk another 30 meters for some God damn epic house made ice cream at that shop over there that already comes without milk...
It just doesn't make any sense. I get milkshakes because they're ice cream you can drink, by definition, and I add extra milk to mine so I don't have to use a spoon to get the last bit at the bottom.
This has been on my mind for two years and everyday it becomes a slightly bigger deal to me.

Expect pretty ok products but nothing fancy. The bread is pretty decent tho. The cereal is cheap knock off shit that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot poll. If you have one close by it's pretty ok. They usually have themed weeks, like October fest or shit like that, and at least the October fest one is pretty legit with the sausages and stuff (its the only way I can get things like Weißwurst when not actually in Germany)

I fucking love Pupusas. First had them on a trip to San Francisco, then started eating them regularly when I moved to Denver. I like the bean/cheese/chicharron combo; with the curtido and salsa, the whole thing is like a Carolina pulled pork sandwich by way of Central America. I usually add hot sauce because I'm Mexican and Salvadorans are pussies when it comes to heat, but they're still delicious.

It has a really subtle flavor. most of the experience is the texture. It has an initial crunch but quickly gets very tender and nice. it's full of good bacteria so if you know someone who makes batches of kombucha, or you do yourself, definitely try eating a little bit to see if it's right for you.
