Those are rookie numbers, you gotta pump those numbers up anon
Saw this posted on my Facebook feed earlier today. Thought I'd share.

>Thought I'd share.
Next time you think that, just kill yourself instead
>>9024513
That's a cheese and spinach omelette btw.
>>9024506
I don't really give a fuck that you're on fuckbook, but your omelette, toast and avocado look like shit. I made this fucker (pic related) in a stainless on a dare from /ck/ and there's a shitload less browning than that. Get better faggot.
Does anyone know a pepper that has similar flavor to habenero but with a lot less heat?
you want something from the "capsicum chinense" family. there's plenty of mild varities, all with that same sweet and fruity flavor.

>>9024479
Not being funny, but what the fuck is the point?
Habenero barely tickles as it is.
You may as well not bother!
>>9024514
well lookie here we got a big manly man with a tongue made of metal who doesn't understand that tolerance for heat varies person to person
you fuckin moron
>see thread on /ck/ about StephON with an ON
>realize that there's a nu-male hipster douche named StephON with an ON working one of the local starbucks drive thrus
>be friendly to him and intentionally call him StephEN with an EN every time I see him working
>laugh internally every time he gets butthurt and says "...it's StephON with an ON, not an EN."
Hipsters are pure cancer.
Who else finds themselves occasionally trolling their local drive thru hipsters?
>>9024339
Im an adult with a full time job, so no. faggot.
Nice blogpost, but where's the food topic?
>>9024343
>t. StephON
You can pick only one to have with your pasta and tomato sauce the rest of your life.
Sausage or meatball?
>>9024204
meatball. duh.
>>9024204
sausage. duh.
>>9024204
meatball for sure, but the sausage will be missed.
I just bought a lodge 12" cast iron skillet. It's the first cast iron skillet I've ever owned (yes, really) and I'm struggling with the whole seasoning process. I've been using flax seed oil and the end result is disappointing to say the least.
I test the pan with some oil and an egg, simply enough but the egg consistently sticks to the pan.
Any pro tips?
those come preseasoned - just cook some bacon in it and don't wash it out
>>9024168
turn your oven as hot as it goes and coat the inside outside and the handle in the oil and rub it in with a towel. leave it in there an hour with the fan on. then turn it off and let it cool
then finish with a light layer of oil and it should be good
At what time before a place closes is it shitty of me to order delivery? I'm a late eater. 30 minutes before close? An hour before?
Is it different if I'm using an UberEATS or something that isn't their in-store delivery?
Irrelevant, there's at least an hour to two of cleanup after the store closes anyways.
>>9024161
As a former delivery cuck, I try to not order the last 30 minutes usually. Same usually with restaurants unless someone else is paying and they insist.
>>9024161
Within the last 15-30min of close. Most places won't let you place an order during this time anyway.
Are these alright? Or should I spend the quid for a machine?
just use instant coffee
>>9024092
You wil use that a few times then forget to clean it so it gets disgusting, get a machine instead.
>>9024092
Moka pots make a rich, almost syrupy coffee. If that's your bag, get one.
I have 2 issues and I wanted to share them with you guys because I've tried to look them up but can't find any information about it, but I get the feeling that it's not that uncommon for some reason.
1: whenever i take a break from eating (around a few hours i guess idk) and then i take a bite out of something that is crunchy at all (just not putting or oatmeal etc.) i have brief but moderate-slightly severe pain in a large portion of my face. I can feel it in my cheekbones, jaw, and teeth in the area i'm chewing. I feel this on the other side of my face too but it's just 1/4th the pain. i feel a slight version of the sensation while eating something with no crunch to it. all of these feelings last around 7 seconds or so idk I never count..
2: i get really sweaty and the skin on the roof of my mouth just falls off when i eat too many greasy/salty foods. mostly potato chips and bacon.
this has been happening for years and I've asked a ton of people about it and nobody seems to have any idea what im talking about.
someone please explain why this happens and how i can eat my chips without this happening.
go see a fucking dentist, you mong
>>9023927
go to the dentist, this is not normal, prbly some major inflammation or a very bad case of grinding your teeth at night
>>9023933
i already asked a dentist she had no fucking idea what i was talking about
Does anyone else just toss bad food? I've always thought it was normal until a friend gave me weird looks every time I'd trash shit like a failed and inedible dish, shitty fast food or those really bland store bought desserts people like to give you.
I think it's definitely a spectrum on what individual people will toss.
I'd throw out something rancid, but I grew up with a mum where you'd never leave the dinner table if there were still food.
>>9023526
why would you buy fast food just to throw it in the trash? If there's something wrong with it, take it back and ask for a fresh one.
>>9023572
thats like asking for extra spit
ITT: Weird food things you think only you do
>Buy jars of all-natural peanut butter and intentionally don't stir them
>Just dig in and scoop out the concentrated nut paste and eat it, sometimes using the oil as a kind of topping
>>9023231
Huh, I wonder how draining the oil would affect the calorie content. How does it taste compared to mixing it up?
>>9023647
>I wonder how draining the oil would affect the calorie content
What's to wonder about? Oil = fat. Fat is 9 calories per gram. You'd reduce the calorie content of the jar by 9 for every gram of oil you remove.
I like just about anything made with flour of any sort better when stale.
Bread, cake, pastries, corn chips; all better when stale.
Slow cooker
>>9022050
omg... absolutely mental
I got salmonella from eating a turtle's cooking. Never again.
Okay I laughed
How do you cook the perfect fried egg?
by actually frying it, meaning that fat (preferably butter desu) comes into contact with the top of the white. basting and a small pan help.
i like medium heat for only a light color at the bottom of the whites but alternatively use very high temperature to get crispy whites with still runny yolks if thats your thing.

This, vid related

>basting
What a meme
Doesn't work nearly as good as light coat of butter at bottom of pan and breaking the albumin on top of the yolk gently with a fork and spreading it out a bit more to cook.
Wastes less oil/butter this way too
What should I get from Red Robin?
>>9020414
Pissed off at how they'll only ever bring you 2 baskets of 4 fries each. Blatant false advertising.
>>9020414
