Being a PRIVILEGED WHITE MALE and all, I am intrigued by the cheap shit people eat.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BPTNdmdJSc

This dude pours 10 packets of ramen into a pot with some eggs and mushrooms, and people seem to fawn over it. WTF

And before that, some other guy pours what looks like spaghetti and butter onto a platter.

What are some cheap foods that make you scratch your head?

Presumably when you've been working your ass off for over a dozen hours without food, even basic shit like instant noodles and spaghetti would be appetizing.

Why dont you taste it yourself?
Why dont you go to a doctor and have your autism professionally diagnosed?
>>
I spent some time homeless and once went into some kind of shock from malnutrition, and I'll never be confused by people finding anything particularly delicious anymore. I ended up eating shit where I don't know exactly what was in it, but I'm alive and in reality I think of it fondly.

Kinda like those prison dudes who still get a craving for food made out of commissary.

I'll make the most basic, cheap, awful shit still, just because it still tastes good, even though I could afford to go treat myself to an expensive steak dinner.

>Dude if you don't drink your coffee black you don't like coffee

>Dude if you put sauce on your steak you don't really like steak

Is there any other food that causes this reddit-tier level of autism?

>Woah dude you cookin' that onion?

I'm actually drinking black coffee and consuming cold entirely unseasoned roast beef right now
>>
>prepare coffee in a way that tastes nothing like coffee
>liking coffee
The children who get triggered over wanting to be associated with the idea of coffee without drinking it are more autistic than anyone

It's not a bad idea.... Probably makes the steak easier to digest. I also think the acidity in black coffee would be just right as a palate cleanser, making each bite better.

Hot dogs are a very tragic food even though they aree quite good, because any place that sells decent hot dogs almost always will also have something significantly better than hot dogs on the menu. There is very rarely any good reason to eat one other than for tradition.

>any place selling hot hot dogs has something better

This is a valid point. The only time I have actually ordered a hot dog was when I got stuck in Chicago because O'HARE IS A FUCKING NIGHTMARE. Avoid if it all possible anons. The good news is that a Chicago dog is one hell of a hot dog and I would order it again.
>>
>>9306931
I've flown through O'Hare a bunch of times and never had a problem.
>>
>>9306913

I have a place that does hot dogs/sausages only up the street from me, and they're really good... but you're right. In most cases, everywhere has something better.

My old bar used to have a great Chicago Dog, Sonoran Dog, and a couple of other specialties, but it closed down. It was nice to have something as simple as a hot dog as a snack instead of having to have a full burger or entree. (As long as the price was right.)

I had an interview at Chipotle today and they decided to hire me.

Has /ck/ been to Chipotle before? What's good to eat? Are there any decent low-calorie options? I've never eaten there or even been to a Chipotle in my life before the interview. So I don't really know anything about them or their food. They give free meals to employees while they're working so I might end up eating it a lot.

They make burritos and offer decent benefits, that's about all I know...

There food is pretty good; it part of the whole 'fast casual' thing on the rise. You'll be on your feet a lot and my friend who's worked there said it was constantly busy, but that and the types of clients you work with will vary by location.
Just like any low-skill type job, how it is will depend primarily on how your customer base treats you and how your boss treats you.
Also, low calorie options? Not really.

bees aren't animals...
>>
The point of being vegan is because you want to do something about a perceived injustice, not because you want to argue semantics about every imaginable edge case. Doing something is better than doing nothing because some smug lardass on 4chan thinks that taking honey from bees makes you a hypocrite.
>>
>>9306542
Technically honey is an animal product, so if someone wants to be a card carrying vegan they won't eat it. But plenty of folks who eat a plant based diet but don't consider themselves vegan have no problem with it.

You know what's a great thing to occupy your time with while trying to not eat sugar? Not posting about and thereby thinking about sugar.

How old are you? You consider yourself an adult? Do I need to tell you that you should occupy your time, productively I might add, with something else? Or did your parents at least do you that favor, if not self-control or discipline?

Get the fanciest japanese soy sauce you can buy, a cast iron if you don't have a propane/inductive range, and a leave-in-cooker digital thermometer after you get tired of stir frying.

Use the internet and mail-order it if you can't get it locally, foolio. I'm white as fuck and I have a jar of that in my fridge right next to the douchi and the doubanjiang.

technically any meat you didn't catch or raise yourself is "morally' questionable.
Also if you care they have cruelty free foix gras nowadays. Geese are dumb greedy shits that overeat without being forced, the tube just speeds up the process.

Why are vegans so awful?

I understand ethical vegetarianism, there's still lots of delicious food options that can be accessed humanely.

Having your own chickens, buying milk from small farms where cows are free range, etc

Vegan food bar dessert is always trash, and vegans do nothing but attack non vegans while being hypocrites wearing sweat shop clothing and taking medication.

It's because the vocal ones are angry and just want to argue with people. The ones who do it because they actually just want to prevent suffering to animals usually don't talk about it unless you ask. It's okay to be angry about the way some animals are treated but a lot of vegans don't see the hypocrisy of treating people the way they claim non-vegans treat animals. I've literally seen vegans laugh at people who are suffering from a disease spread by ticks that makes them allergic to read meat. They were revelling in human suffering while acting like they're putting a stop to suffering.

Really vegans and vegetarians mostly just speak out against animal cruelty and the conditions we raise and slaughter animals in. Those are the legit ones.

The asshole ones get in your face and call you a bad person for ordering chicken wings. Those people can fuck fuck, but I think the former argument is actually legit and like OP said...alternative, humane (if that's applicable) and altruistic options are available.
>>
PETA thinks it should be illegal for you to own animals or exploit their labour, the same kind of 89IQ fuckwits who actually believe in communism.

You'll find vegans are always leftists, whereas with vegetarians or prscatarians it's a mixed bag.
