I just stopped and started running.
It felt like shit for a couple of weeks, then I was 2 kg thinner and could actually breathe.

I also put the money I would have spent in cigarettes in a jar and by the end of the year I bought myself a weekend trip.

Vaping helped me quit, got my mother AND brother to quit cigs too.

Get an inexpensive starter kit, I highly recommend something like the Smok H-priv mini. Don't get an "ecig" or any of the other underpowered devices, you will not get the nicotine delivery you need.

6mg ejuice, maybe 12mg to start off if you find it hard to stay away from cigs. Give it a month or 2 of vaping, then just stop vaping. That's exactly how I quit, and when I stopped vaping it was surprisingly easy and I didn't experience a single urge.
