Alright guys, I've got my first date saturday morning for breakfast. How do I not sperg out? We are strangers, I just gave her my number in public. How do I focus on my studies and not procrastinate?
I'm so close to achieving my goals I just need to dedicate these next few months to my studies but I just find it so hard to just focus and get it done. I really REALLY want this for myself but I always find myself somehow doing anything other than studying.

Fucked up my macbook keys... Spilled some beer on em.
The bottom ones are kinda sticky now.. No impairment to their ability to type, just feels weird/annoying..
What would you guys do?

This happened to me with sprite on my Dell laptop.
Ended up having dell replace the keyboard for free because it was still under warranty (I just told them the keyboard was sticking for some reason, not why).
Dunno if that helps, but maybe apple has some option like that.
I'm not gonna lie. I'm a scary looking guy. How am I gonna make up for this? It feels like everyone too afraid (or repulsed) by me and I've got very little confidence because of it. I feel like the fucking elephant man.

My problem is that TV, movies and video games aren't really cutting it, my other hobbies like running and fitness are fine, but I can't really spend all the free time I have on it and a girl I really like thinks we should be friends.

Well I have goals, for example, I'm going on my first hiking trip this summer (with the girl that wanted to be friends even), as well as I want to run a marathon this year.
I already have a Masters in Robot Systems Design and I'm pretty fit already, so I guess I'm sort of lacking those self-improvement goals.

The only reason I've got for living really is just because I can't be bothered to kill myself.

Other thing I got is I'm sinking all my eggs into the hopes of getting accepted into the JET program. I want to work in a foreign country, with my amerifat education degree my options are slim for that dream. But JET is perfect.
Idk what I'll do if I'm not accepted, probably lose all hope for living lol, but that's what keeps me going to some degree I guess.
Good long term goals like that though will keep you alive. Because no matter how many daily failures you go through, you still haven't seen if you can get the long term goal yet at least.
Close collegemate and I were texting each other random pics. Suddenly she sends one of herself with a random filter on, asking how she looks. I tell her she looks cute, and send a pic of my own. Not a word about me. No, she starts talking about the chair next to me. Where I got it, she asks. Of all things in that photo, the chair. I point this out mock-hurt and we both laugh about it... and she continues talking about the chair as my mock-hurt slowly turns to actual hurt.
She's a girl fresh out of her teens with no dating experience, and told me she's always had trouble talking to crushes of hers to the point that they never even knew she existed. Yet we meet up at college most of the time, we're laughing through the day together and most of the time I'm teasing her.
Wanted to take her out after we're done studying our asses off for midterms, but should I even bother anymore? It feels like she literally picked a chair over me. Hell, that might just be exactly what happened.
Should I play this off as a teen girl's awkwardness or a subtle rejection she was dying to give?
