If the Americans did actually back Finland during the Winter War the Soviet Union would have collapsed. We pussied out of any significant involvement though because Russia was technically our ally during World War 2, even though the cold war started many years earlier and was only temporarily paused because of the nazi problem.
If they did do a Sniper Elite game set during the winter war they should just label it as a spinoff and make you play as a Finnish protagonist based on Simo Hayha.

This is gonna sound gay, but have you ever had a game you played that, after finally getting to it you wish you had played it when you were younger? Like, you wish you had been able to play it during a different time during your life.
I've been reminiscing over pic related. I had picked it up back in 2010, yet I only actually beat it in late 2015. When I had got it I was in 8th grade, when I actually got to it I had graduated high school. However, I really - really - wish I had played it when it first came out. Like most folks on /v/, or as I'd like to imagine, I had a bit of a troubled childhood. I was awkward, I made a lot of mistakes, I wish I had been more sociable. It might be a silly anime game, but I thought that TWEWY handled the idea of human relationships fairly well considering the package it was wrapped up in. It would've certainly helped shape my perspective a bit throughout middle school if I'd played it back then.
How about you fags?
