I assure you, it's fucking worth. The guy who made it really nailed it at all levels. Maybe (and just maybe) the humor was a little too meta at times but during my play I sometimes forgot that I was playing a fan-game.
I would have gladly paid for it if given the chance.

they have a huge universe full of diverse alien culture and yet they choose to stick with the most basic cookie cutter squadmates. I want to fucking use aliens but they seem to be unable to understand that a majority of human squadmates are throw aways and will largely go unused with MAYBE an exception for James.
