XI had to really prove itself to get people in before the whole early internet gaming console caught on. Current XIV does what is known to work and not frustrate players. You won't get a shitty SAM without food and proper gearswaps in XIV. You'll always get the same SAM with a slightly different item level.

XIV is playing minigolf whereas XI is playing in a golf tournament.

Makes a nice piracy machine. Was nice to play botw for free a day before release. Also got all the DLC for free now.

Shame it has like 10 worthwhile games but at least I can run my entire gamecube and Wii library off an SD card.
