FFXV and Dissidia. XV doesn't have turned based combat and the DLC is pretty good.

Dissidia is a fighting game, and it's a good way to familiarize yourself with the characters from the main games.

It'd either have to be a prequel about A2, which would be the most boring shit of all time if stretched to a full length game, or a sequel about the ark at the end, way way into the future, the ark that Toobie and Nines refused to get on.

Taro's said countless times that the only reason Automata is called Nier is for brand recognition. Nothing is stopping him from just creating a new world and characters again and tangentially relating it to Automata
