Anyone follow Hyper Bit Hero on Twitter? He hasn't stopped complaining how the original games look better and that the new remakes will somehow ruin the original games.

If you're poor and dont have any other ways of experiencing the series, play it. It's just a thing that splits people about recommending a game which essentially has the best combat of the series which may make it difficult to replay older games

The level design isn't going to be as linear as before though apparently there still are chapters. But they're actually adding geometry and a map so it won't be as linear.

It's not a jumpscare game, it's all about the VHS-horror atmosphere. It really gets under your skin IMO.
