Runs pretty solid for me on BotW but I have a good PC 1070/6700k. Pretty solid 29-30FPS everywhere as long as you use cemuhook with the GPUfence hack and cap the FPS to 30 in something like MSI afterburner (otherwise shrines run at 60FPS at double speed).

Biggest issue I actually have is random artifacting on the latest version I didn't have previously and the massive amount of memory shader caches use.

Played about 6-7 hours of it was perfectly playable but I'm going to wait a little longer because they are supposed to be overhauling shader caches soon. Not in a big hurry really to play it anyway.

I tried last night actually. I legitimately tried to fight him fair and square, but after 7+ deaths I just took the easy way out. Fuck him to hell. Also, I hear there is a way to bypass this entire section in the beginning and befriend him after finding paarl. How is that actually possible?

Note: Djura must still be alive. (If you have already killed Rom, the Vacuous Spider, then go to Yahar'gul, Unseen Village and enter Darkbeast Paarl boss room)

Kill the Blood-starved Beast boss in Old Yharnam to spawn Snatchers.
Awaken at the Cathedral Ward lantern, exit straight, look to the right side and get killed by the Snatcher in the corner.
After being taken to Hypogean Gaol, make your way to Darkbeast Paarl and enter the boss room.
Kill Darkbeast Paarl then open the big gate into Old Yharnam (alternatively, during the fight, use a Bold Hunter's Mark or die then awaken at Church of the Good Chalice)
Walk to Djura and climb up the ladder to talk to him.
Choose "Spare the beasts of Old Yharnam" and receive rewards.

That's all MS gives a shit about. They have so much money that if they spend 50 billion to get just 10% of the console market squared away then it's mission success.

It's kind of why MS never really "loses" the console wars. The console war is an existential battle for Nintendo and Sony. It's not even a majority of MS revenue stream
