Is it a steady 30fps without a super computer, yet?
nope

Thought so, thanks senpai. Wonder how long they're going to milk the patreon before finally doing something.
Runs pretty solid for me on BotW but I have a good PC 1070/6700k. Pretty solid 29-30FPS everywhere as long as you use cemuhook with the GPUfence hack and cap the FPS to 30 in something like MSI afterburner (otherwise shrines run at 60FPS at double speed).
Biggest issue I actually have is random artifacting on the latest version I didn't have previously and the massive amount of memory shader caches use.
Played about 6-7 hours of it was perfectly playable but I'm going to wait a little longer because they are supposed to be overhauling shader caches soon. Not in a big hurry really to play it anyway.
What's the point of emulating a console that used a second screen? Can I use my phone as the gamepad screen?

no, if you see anyone claiming otherwise they're just trying REALLY hard to not notice the choppy bits. Still needs a lot of work

It's more about how long it's going to take for the cost of parts that can run it to go down. It will be ready around the time a current top of the line card is worth $100. PS2 was this way too, shit until everyone's computers caught up.

I need to up the CPU. Is Ryzen any good?

protip you're never gonna get good performance if your computer isn't significantly more powerful than a wiiu

970, 6600k, and 16gb RAM.
Game runs like total shit even with all the hacks.

BoTW doesn't use both screens. When you play on TV the gamepad doesn't show anything.

Nah
Still better than on any Nintendo console console though, especially the Shitch
Runs like a dream on a i5 7600k 4.8 Ghz and a 1070
