Beyond the Black Rainbow
>2001 has no plot
t. didn't watch the movie
ok im not great at expressing my thoughts through writing but after watching the last episode, I am just so angry, hopefully this hasn't been vented here before.
Sherlock started as a smart entertaining show, the characters had flaws, and even though Sherlock was a genius you were still rooting for him! I dont know when the beat dropped, but I think its when Mary came around, the show just never had the same rhythm after that.
Season 4...what a piece of shit!
>the fucking drone
>so the whole thing on the plane...it didnt happend
>Mary finally dies, I hated that character, but she just wont. go. away.
>john is thinking about cheating on mary, your going to cheat on your wife who is a world class assassain, spy, mercenary, or what ever the fuck she is...what
>Mary again, she wants a quiet life...so I will marry John Watson side kick to one of the most famous men in England
>the memory sticks! COME ON
>they kept one of her associates alive for 5 or 7 years what ever it was, he would of been dead in a week
>Eurus nuff said
>Jim Moriarty, hes back again! for fuckes sake why kill him to have him in almost every episode since hes been dead, you think maybe the writers are regretting that one
I get it new characters need to be introduced from time to time. This was just sloppy though, I had enjoyed the first 3 seasons somewhat and then they dropped this travesty, word is that this could be the last, well frankly with how bad it was i hope so!
what did you guys think
>>79245412
>and even though Sherlock was a genius you were still rooting for him!
Do you hate geniuses?
All other points accepted. Season 4 was shit. At least theres no ciff hanger, so season 5 has potential.
>>79245595
Not OP but geniuses often have poor social skills which makes them unlikable by most people.
>>79245741
>Not OP but geniuses often have poor social skills
I'm not going to have conversation. That's just dumb.
He was there.

>I was the herald of Gil-galad and marched with his host. I was at the Battle of Dagorlad before the Black Gate of Mordor, where we had the mastery: for the Spear of Gil-galad and the Sword of Elendil, Aiglos and Narsil, none could withstand. I beheld the last combat on the slopes of Orodruin, where Gil-galad died, and Elendil fell, and Narsil broke beneath him; but Sauron himself was overthrown, and Isildur cut the Ring from his hand with the hilt-shard of his father's sword, and took it for his own.... But few marked what Isildur did. He alone stood by his father in that last mortal contest; and by Gil-galad only CĂrdan stood, and I.

Why wasn't Cirdan in the movie? Imagine how confused people who haven't read the books would be seeing an elf with a beard.

Just finished this, and I really enjoyed it. I'm surprised I hadn't heard about it sooner.
What is /tv/'s opinion? I'm sure some people think it's a reddit meme show, but who knows.
I dont actually watch tv shows. But I do have encyclopedic knowledge on them from this board.
>>79245363
>actually watch tv shows
only NERDS do that

Is Netflix really worth paying for every month? , Instant play sounds comfy as fuck and it seems like I could discover tons of new kino.
not after they announced their anti-white program
>>79245335
Oh wow, I triggered a /pol/tard already. You know you're worse than SJWs, right?
Why wouldnt it be? Just do it, pussy.
You guys ever use lines or ideas from a move in real life situations?
I recently went to see Lala Land with a girl from my work (shes a big Ryan Gosling fan) didn't really want to go see it but the girl is kind of cute and I had nothing better to do so why not.
Anyway after its over we are walking to get a cab and she says she's kind of cold, I was about to say you should have wore a jacket like I did but then I remember a scene from Batman Begins and say
> "rub your chest, your arms will take care of themselves"
Felt pretty cool.
>>79245254
did you fuck her
>she says she's kind of cold

>>79245135
were you involved in some type of amorous situation
>>79245135
Have you ever been on a date?
>>79245492
randomly taking it out on a date hardly ever works especially when you just met the person
Not memeing: is this a good movie?
Apparently the black girl at end realizes she was wrong and apologizes as I have been told.
It's pretty good and yes it points out the flaws of the black characters as much as the white
>>79245019
She doesn't really admit she was wrong on everything, because she wasn't, she just admits that she was being an overbearing SJW-BLM cunt to the white guy she genuinely likes and she just wants to try and be herself, which means accepting her biracial identity
>>79245019
Regardless of if it is serious or satire, it's stirring a pot that doesn't need anymore stirring. It's the Macarena of movies.
>Implying Babe Pig in the City is not a postmodern masterpiece
>Implying Alien 3 is not the second best in the franchise

Why does he have such shit taste, brehs?
I don't see bvs on the list

He's hesitant to talk shit on DC since he wants to make a Robin orgy movie.

What makes someone this confidently dumb?
Just saw this and Walkabout for the first time. Is there any other Aussie-kino I should know about?

The Year My Voice Broke
Wake In Fright is very good. Not quite Picnic at Hanging Rock tier, but very very good. Bad Boy Bubby also usually gets tossed around as "kino" in Australian scenes.
My personal non-kino recommendations are Gallipoli, Chopper, Two Hands and Animal Kingdon. If you're feeling adventurous, check out some aussie comedy too - The Castle, Muriel's Wedding and, although you might have seen it, Crocodile Dundee.
>>79245136
I fucking love Wake in Fright and I don't even understand most of it (I'm American)
ITT your contrarian opinions

>Only God Forgives was better than Drive

>Daniel Craig is a pretty good James Bond

Wait, that's contrarian? I don't know anyone who like him.
>>79245242
Every "indie" college kid thinks Wes Anderson is hot shit
