>Grand Prix race
>Speed Racer far behind, all hope is lost
>listens to car, gets back into the race and rushes to first
>the music
>the flashbacks
>the monologue
>the fast paced action
>the entire crowd cheering for Speed Racer
Goosebumps

How come people hated this movie?
>>79247904
They are easily distracted by flashing lights and crazy colors. Couldn't pay attention to the movie and didn't know what was going on.
speed racer is kino
The director of the series said the creature isn't the witch, but somebody else.
so who the fuck is this creature then?

>can't say nigger
>can't say faggot
Sunny is really laying it on this season
>making Mac gay
They really lost it
>>79247829
He's been a raging closeted homo since he fucked the tranny. They didn't lose it, they just realized that being in the closet isn't really much of a funny joke after the first 50 times you do it.
I for one welcome it. They could actually do some funny plot lines with this. Better than the same "lol I'm not gay but really I am" joke they've done for literally years
I didn't watch tonight's episode yet, what was the context of Charlie saying nigger?
>bulldoze every theater that cannot be turned into an IMAX cineplex
>make every remaining theater into an IMAX-only cineplex and make those theaters even better than ever by upgrading them and offering premium services such as food service, luxury seating, and seat booking with staff monitoring the screening area at all times to ensure niggers are thrown out immediately.
>Make every cinema chain distribute movies via a unified, premium VOD service in order to have every film go directly to 1080p/4K VOD on the day of release so nobody is forced to go to the theater anymore.
>Offer those VOD movies on a rolling price schedule. 1st month will have a 24 hour rental of $39.95. 2nd and 3rd month will have a 24 hour rental fee of $29.95. After 3 months, the Bluray goes on sale and ends up on Amazon, iTunes, and other VOD outlets at market-driven prices.
>have moviegoers have the option of seeing the latest films at the theater in IMAX for the same single ticket prices as they currently offer.
Tada, no more bullshit.
Can anybody improve this already perfect business model?
>>79247744
Sounds heavily dependent on this VOD service, in which case, why are studios going through the movie chain to offer these movies?
Also, if the digital files are out there, then pirates will rip it - in HD - the same day the movie comes out. Imagine 1080p instead of camrips. That'd increase piracy substantially and yes that would be lost sales.
>>79247744
We need bigger playpens for our falcons too
>>79247808
Most people will have seen the movie in their homes or theater anyway by the time somebody is able to get a rip out.
1. Batman (1989)
2. The Dark Knight
3. Batman Begins
4. The Dark Knight Rises
5. Batman (1966)
6. Batman Returns
7. Batman Forever
8. Batman & Robin
The Dark Knight is a better movie than Batman Begins, but Begins had the best Rachel.
This is a fact.
>>79247649
I can get behind this ranking wholeheartedly.
>>79247649
>4. The Dark Knight Rises
>5. Batman (1966)
>6. Batman Returns
Retard. TDKR is a terrible movie and Adam West low quality parody.

>Captain I'm sensing... greed... from those Ferengi!
>I am sensing a strong emotion.

Annie Hall was when he started trying to put psychology and philosophy into his films. Before that they were just pure comedies.
haven't been on in a while but what's your guys thoughts on this movie. I thought it would ok but after seeing it I kinda feel like it might be my favorite movie of 2016. Heard Manchester by the sea was good too so I'll check that out soon
>>79247409
I liked Manchester by the Sea better, but I was impressed by La La Land. Definitely exceeded my expectations. I didn't think it would be able to make peace with the romanticism of old school musicals and the desired realism of today, but that ended up being a major theme, imo. Pretty cool.
>>79247509
Damn that's pretty spot on man. Another good movie about relationships this year was the lobster, I liked it's take on relationships
>>79247409
>mediocre music
>hollow characters who are nothing more than dull receptacles for their ambitions
>absolutely garbage-tier plot
>straight-up bad choreography (aside from the opening scene)
Very pretty to look at but it fails in every other category. 4/10
Should i watch The Nice Guys if I enjoyed These Final Hours?
Alternatively, should I watch These Final Hours if I enjoyed The Nice Guys?

and the acting. mainly because they used stage acting where gestures and expressions have to be over-emphasized to be seen by the audience who're not sitting very close to the stage. unfortunately, some old geezers think that if you don't act like that then they consider the acting wooden.

Even Roger Ebert, who I really respect, makes way too big a deal out of it.
>Came out of the closet properly
>Claims he's not going back in
Wow, it only took them 6+ seasons to realize that the closeted Mac gag had gotten old. Maybe we'll actually get some character development again in the next seasons like back in the old days
>>79246930
>like back in the old days
when did we ever get consistent character development
This is the kind of show where you don't want character development. You want them to star the same pieces of shit that they are.
>>79246930
